Great result Vos, now let's see if you can secure 5th place for the season?

Thanks AA.
You probably mean the 6th place (instead of 5th).
Since race 60 my team is 6th in 1A, and initial with a big gap towards the top 5.
But my team came closer thanks to the 2 big tours.
I guess/estimate/assume, because to me the 1A ranking is not important, so I did not keep track of that. It is and was not a season goal.
Only the 3rd place is interesting to me because that is a price.
Throughout the whole season it was clear my team would not finish top 3, they are much better teams and always an enormous gap towards top3.
Even the current 6th place is surprisingly high to me, but then again, the past seasons I was surprised too my doubtfull team finishes top 10.

About securing the 6th place ?
Well, 7th or 5th or another top10 place is also fine by me. But the numbers 4 and 5 have golden hills cyclists, so top5 will not happen.
However, there is one rival team who is a real threat, because a price is at stake ; the Australian championship. 8)

This is the only reason to try to secure the 6th place.
And yes, I did not rule your team out as rival throughout the whole season, simply because your team can score many TT points on the WC.
Not an important price because in 9 out of the 10 seasons I won this price already. It shows because I did not buy a hills specialist.
But you don't have a hills specialist too, so it comes all down to the WC time trial :

nr 6 SPORTLIFE is 2.756 points ahead of nr 15 Aurora_Australis.
That seems a lot / too much, but a real chance this big lead is not enough.
You have the top 3 favorites and your other 2 TT specialists will probably do great too.
An example ; your results this evening are 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9 = 3.210 points !
And my TT specialist Kangert does also great and finishes as 8th what gives 380 points.
In this example your team will be the Australian champion with a lead of 74 points,
and in this example most likely your team will finish as 6th in 1A and my team as 7th.
Because I assume the current numbers 4 and 5 will score (easily) enough points in the WC hills race, and the top 3 is simply too far ahead.

So despite my enormous lead, the Australian championship can be an interesting and exciting battle this evening. :)
Good luck AA.

But of course, I'm a Fox, so in Lombardia I anticipated on this TT scenario by scoring 285 points, perhaps it might make the difference.
15º  VanDerKroon  ( free role )
18º  Bustelo  ( free role )
20º  Løvdal  ( teamcaptain with lightbulb )

Not my best suited cyclist as team captain.
I chose Løvdal because to my big surprise he could battle with Reinertsen for the individual Norwegian championship.
It was an opportunistic longshot to achieve this because Løvdal had to finish as 16º.
Too bad he did not, a few places too low and 14 seconds behind, despite his lightbulb.
Reinertsen is again the individual Norwegian champion, he won with a difference of just 28 ( ! ) points.
So, I almost won my very first individual nation championship in CFF3. But I did not expect at all that my silver cyclist Løvdal could compete with such an amazing top cyclist like Reinertsen, only after the Vuelta I noticed this could have been a possibillity.
Still, I wonder what happened if my free roles were helpers too, in this scenario Løvdal would have finished 2 places better,
but unsure if 4 places and 14 seconds better was possible, maybe it was, maybe it was not because he finished with a lightbulb already.
But the current results are better for the Australian championship chances, my free roles would not score points as helpers.
And just a 16º place gave 110 points, instead of the now total of 285 points in Lombardia.

Lucky for the readers my team had just one or two prices to battle for this season, otherwise this text would even be longer.  ;D

Won't get 1-2-3, other cyclists have a weather bonus, and McDermott has just signed up.  I'll be happy with another TT WC jersey.

Thx Vos, got a bit lucky.  But that's strange too, QuintoYtapa's cyclist wasn't the one with the rain icon, I was expecting it to be Ignat Nefedov, who had been 100-100 before this race (I'd be interested to see Peachy's staff).

Figures crossed you stay in 5th.

Luck always plays a big role in the WC time trial.

Figures crossed you stay in 5th.
Again the same answer as before the WC time trial ;
You probably mean the 6th place (instead of 5th).
the numbers 4 and 5 have golden hills cyclists, so top5 will not happen.
I assume the current numbers 4 and 5 will score (easily) enough points in the WC hills race

Verbeek world champion ! Congratulations Sjiz !  8)
Too bad your Marino lost the sprint-a-deux with Verbeek, WinterIsComing.
Peixoto of Foeke finished as 3rd, what makes the podium complete with 3 Dutch CFF managers, impressive ! :

1º gold   Arno Verbeek   28   TeamRHB   0: 00"
2º silver   Andrea Marino   24   WinterIsComing   0: 00"
3º bronze   Norberto Peixoto   29   Valderend   0: 03"
