Posible bug en la colinas -sprint de Tirreno
« on: September 20, 2020, 11:08:58 AM »

If you are referering to the post of Cabrasverdes ;
parece que en la ultima etapa de Tirreno el primer tramo está marcado como de montaña.
He saw in the race picture flat in section 1, but to him it seemed s1 was a mountain section instead.
This stage 4 starts with a mountain section, so Cabrasverdes must refer to another Tirreno stage than this current stage 4.
In previous season my ex-cyclist won this exact same stage in a CFF record, and there were no bugs in this stage 4 Tirreno.
So, according to me the answer to your question = no.

Sorry, it was 2 seasons ago not last season. I'm quite sure that the stage was the same than this season. In the first section, all the riders with high mountain skill were in a first group when the picture shows hills. I don't know if Oska checked or corrected it, but I'm just warning so it doesn't happen that some manager take advantage of the bug.

For sure no sorry needed, and maybe I should say sorry, because we are in Paris Nice now so I mixed up the Tirreno and PN.
My text does not apply anyway now.

I searched a bit, and it must be in season 12 as you already mentioned now, Ophiuko.
But I'm confused, about the text and about the dates.
Cabrasverdes wrote his text on 20 september, and stage 5 Tirreno was on 22 september.
And I see that there was nothing written about a possible bug in the English topic season 12.

Maybe he refers to stage 1 Tirreno or stage 2 Tirreno, the only stages that did not start with a flat section.
Or maybe he mixed up Paris Nice and the Tirreno ( I know that can happen to the best, hahaha ),
so I will post the stages of PN and TIR of season 12, maybe that is helpfull for someone who can unravel this (to me) mystery.

Paris Nice season 12 ;
stage 1 = mountain TT 10km
stage 2 = FMMFF
stage 3 = FHFM^M^
stage 4 = FFFFH
stage 5 = FFFHF

Tirreno season 12 ;
stage 1 = HHFFF
stage 2 = FFFFF
stage 3 = HHHHH
stage 4 = FFFHM
stage 5 = FF^FFM --> nothing wrong with this stage, because otherwise I would have mentioned it in my post.
This post was my only post* of a Tirreno stage, and my cyclist finished 3rd, and he is a top-flatclimber and the stage was a flatclimb.

But like I already mentioned, he must refer to another stage than what he mentioned ( = la ultima etapa de Tirreno ),
because he wrote it on 20 september and stage 5 Tirreno was on 22 september.

Pffffff, I solved it a little bit by ignoring his text, but to look at the title of this topic = Posible bug en la colinas -sprint de Tirreno
So that must be stage 1 Tirreno of season 12,
because most likely he made a writing error with "la ultima etapa de Tirreno", that should be "la primera etapa de Tirreno".
See stage 1 Tirreno in my overview, and that is on the right date now, 20 september ;
Tirreno season 12 ;
stage 1 = HHFFF
stage 2 = FFFFF
stage 3 = HHHHH
stage 4 = FFFHM
stage 5 = FF^FFM
Despite all this information, it is strange that I or someone else did not mention in the season 12 topic that there was a possible bug.
I had a GC contender in that Tirreno, I would have mentioned a bug. But maybe I overlooked it back then, and I was not aware of it.

Or maybe Cabrasverdes refers to a bug in this exact same stage of more seasons ago, that already is fixed by Oska a long time ago.
It is still a mystery to me.  :)

Maybe the mystery will be solved in the upcoming stage 4 Tirreno, that is the exact same race as stage 1 Tirreno of season 12.
Well, almost the exact same race, because now there will be no wind, and in season 12 there was a storm ( 3 stripes of wind ) in this race.

Creo que la etapa 4 de tirreno de esta temporada es esta misma. Se comprobó/corrigió el bug?

Indeed, Cabrasverdes must refer to this upcoming stage 4 Tirreno.
I don't know if this stage 4 has a bug, or had a bug that is fixed. So I have no answer to your question. We will see what happens.

By "la última etapa de Tirreno", he meant the race just before he wrote the message. So yes, it was Tirreno stage 1 season 12. I've sent an email to Oska, let's see if he can check it before it is run.

Aha, now it makes sense to me, many thanks for solving my mystery, Ophiuko, you are the best !  :)
And good you notified Oska before this stage will be raced.
I have 3 ( !!! :)) ) GC contenders in the upcoming Tirreno, so it can be important for my team.

Sorry but no bug in this stage. Sometimes ( 2 or 3 ) the 1st time we play a race we can have a different section number ( I put numbers according if it is mountain, flat, cobb...) but no in this case, the 2 sections are in hills. I don't remember if I changed it in this case.

Maybe last time we have mountain, hills have low % in this case, only is important for effort.

I readed it and I checked in my mail and one user told me about that ( I thought the stage has been raced today with bug, hehe), but I see only is for the past time.

If anyone know other stage with possible bug tell me .

Thanks
