Time trial stage 1 was halfway cancelled due to extreme rain. In stage 2 a solo victory of van Vleuten.

CFF League stage 2 winner = ophiuko  8)

Adam Yates wins the twinbrothers-battle, and his teammate Pogačar finished as 3rd by winning the sprint of the chasing group.
GC contenders Mas*****( 4x picked ) and Carapaz*( 21x picked ) crashed and are already out of this Tour de France.
( Carapaz managed to finish stage 1, but after the race it appeared he has a broken knee cap, and he does not start today. )

CFF League stage 1 winner = PieterJanVB  8)

TOP 3 GC ;
0:00"  PieterJanVB*
0:07"  B.E-L
0:12"  MarnixStar

top 1 sprint classification ;

top 1 mountain classification ;

27  pizzaboys

top 1 youth classification ;
18  PieterJanVB *
18  azerite
18  Combuijs
18  Mitte
18  ophiuko

Ups ! Somehow I made the mistake by thinking that the max. stars possible was 45 ! :-[
Animatoca used 48 stars, and edu5 used 49 stars. Everyone else did not make a mistake, and used the max. 50 stars.

Most picked as GC winner = 17x Pogačar versus 9x Vingegaard.
And no surprise that both are picked by everyone.

Here's a question.  Ignoring the crashers, if you could replace one of your cyclist (for one with equal or less points), who would you get rid of? And who would be their replacement?

Probably I would get rid of Biniam Girmay, despite his win in Suisse, his form doesn't seem to have improved compared to the rest of the season. I would replace him by Victor Lafay.

Either that or Van Aert by Adam Yates, I was already in doubt when I made my selection after he said that he won't be as competitive as last year and he won't fight the green jersey. On top of that, I read that he might leave the Tour early due to her wife giving birth. But even with all that, still not completely sure if I would replace him by Adam Yates.

Great start of this tour de france.

With these two stages ofc i would have taken different riders. But some of them are always a chance. Powless would have been awesome but who would have known for sure he was gonna take the mountain Jersey.

Well, I will ignore the by me picked Carapaz, but because I used 5 stars less, I can replace like this :
Johannessen & ⭐Alaphilippe --> replaced by = ⭐⭐ Lafay  & ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pidcock = finally 50 stars used !  :))

  solo victory of van Vleuten, who already has a GC lead of more than 3 minutes.

CFF League stage 6 winner = Kalarratas  8)
ophiuko is still the GC leader with 3 more stages to go.

Solo victory of Hindley, who is the new GC leader.
In the picture ; Vingegaard attacked Pogačar, and the Danish TdF title defender won 1 minute on his direct rival.
Perhaps Hindley can be a fierce rival too, after all, he won the Giro in 2022.
