Australia is lucky to have me as a developer of cyclists, and also lucky that TeamEuroscalt's cyclists are a year younger (that advantage will disappear during season 6). My cyclists are also more noticeable because I was too worn out of the game & lazy to buy anybody from the transfer market in the first season. In the 5 other NT races, Australia only got 380 points, because we don't have the strength across the field. Basically every category, Spain has 10-12 cyclists all within 2-3 average of the top guy; everybody else has 2-3-4 in the same range, and sometimes nobody, if they have a top guy at all. Essentially, with Spain's depth, the top cyclists in other CFF squads (if were Spanish) sometimes wouldn't be good enough to make the Spanish team at all, and this is the reason why Spain should win every season, basic sheer depth of quality.
Btw: I don't know what's wrong with France & Italy, possibly a lesser version of Portugal's problems.
