The first two stages had seen issues with cars and lorries being able to get onto the course
and the police then had to get the riders to divert around them. Even with one car driving towards the peloton.

The third stage was yet another incident involving a car. This time, the peloton came face-to-face with a car on a roundabout.
They immediately stopped and refused to continue racing.

Following the protest, several teams decided to leave the race instead of restarting.
They were the team of race leader, Paul Magnier, Soudal-QuickStep as well as Uno-X Mobility, Decathlon-AG2R, Lidl-Trek,
EF Education-EasyPost, Ineos Grenadiers, Unibet Tietema Rockets and Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe.

Despite the shocking weather, rider protests, course changes and various teams leaving the Etoile de Bessèges 2025,
the race continued and saw De Lie sprint to victory.

CFF League stage 3 winners( split victory ) = Combuijs  8)    &  azerite  8)
Animatoca is still the GC leader with 2 more stages to go.

Romeo wins solo stage 3. Almeida is the GC leader.

CFF League stage 3 winner = HtcHun  8)
HtcHun is the new GC leader with 2 more stages to go.

  Kooij wins stage 1.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Patrick Kok  8)

Longo Borghini wins solo on the steep Jebel Hafeet.
She is the new GC leader. With 1 more sprint stage to go, she will win the final GC victory as well, if nothing unexpected happens.
The nrs 2 and 3 of this decisive Jebel Hafeet stage, will very likely be the nrs 2 and 3 in the final GC as well.

CFF League stage 3 winner = ophiuko  8)
ophiuko is the new GC leader with 1 more stage to go.

Vauquelin wins solo on le Mont Bouquet.
He is the new GC leader and today the final stage ; a time trial of 10,6 km.

CFF League stage 4 winner = Kalarratas  8)
Animatoca is still the GC leader with 1 more stage to go.

Remarkable, I'm 2nd GC and only 4 points behind, but I have just 4 cyclists left. GC leader Animatoca has 6 cyclists left.
The also very high ranked ophiuko, as 3rd GC, even tops this ; just 3 cyclists left = probably a low record in the CFF League.
But all 12 CFF participants have many abandonned picks. Mitte( 6th GC ) is the "most lucky" one, he has 8 cyclists left.

Buitrago wins stage 4 with a very steep final, and takes the GC lead.
Most likely he will win this tour, because the final stage is a 104 km sprint race to Valencia.

CFF League stage 4 winner = ophiuko  8)
HtcHun is still the GC leader with 1 more stage to go.

Pogačar wins stage 3 and takes the GC lead.

CFF League stage 3 winner = ophiuko  8)
ophiuko is still the GC leader.

  van Gils wins stage 1.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Vlominck  8)

Ganna initially won the opening stage after a bizarre final
that saw the majority of the peloton enter the final stretch on the wrong side of the roadside median and barriers,
through an unblocked deviation, and attempt to sprint among the crowds of fans lined up to watch the race at the finish line.

Ganna was among the few riders who made the correct deviation
on the left side of the median and roadside barriers inside the final few hundred metres and so crossed the line solo.

Race organisers later announced that they had cancelled the stage due to the confusion that occurred in the final.
But they awarded Ganna the leader's jersey.
