Initially, mud on the course forced a route change, but strong winds and thunderstorms later led the jury to call off the stage entirely. The classifications as they were after the last stage are taken as the final classifications.

Mas attacked in the final km, but took a wrong turn at a roundabout with in his wheel Romo and McNulty.
Grégoire could profit of their mistake by taking the right way at that roundabout.

Second time this happens this season. What is going on? 

There was a motorbike with a camera in front of Mas after taking the wrong turn, so I would blame the organisers this time. If the motorbike was supposed to take that turn and separate from the cyclists, they should have made it clearer for the cyclists that they shouldn't follow the camera bike.

Ayuso lit things up first with 20km to go up the Colla Micheri climb and tried on several occasions to go solo.
However, Scaroni followed each of his bursts, allowing Powless and Storer back in to contest the victory.
It came down to a 4-men-sprint, and Ayuso had enough power left to win it clearly. Just the sprint for 2nd was close.
