Australian National Team Season 9
(https://image.freepik.com/vector-gratis/concepto-dia-australia-dibujado-mano_23-2148379297.jpg)
Here I am again!! After a good last season being 3rd, this season doesn't look very well honestly. There is no pure cobb race, 2 sprints, 2 cobbhills, 1 flat hills, 1 flat climbing and 1 TT.
All in for our TTs and Garza, for the rest of the races...I hope to get some points... :-\

Indeed, with this NT races schedule the expectations are low. Have fun and good luck anyway, Franky !

With this calendar, the team's name should be changed to Aurora Australis National Team.

;D ;D ;D ;D
I just decided to train him...I'm promoting sprinters all day. Anyway, Tim Fox and Kent Carey needed sprint to be better tourmans, the rest of the guys...well, they will train at 70%, anyway is not a big lost for the National Team

David Dixon LosTxinosKudeiros
Tony Carter HorsCategorieProTeam
The Kids:
Ryan Pierre Shiro_Lions
Brent Hunter WinterIsComing

110 points, not bad

110 points, not bad
That's 110 points more that we could of expected, great job.
I'm of course celebrating my guy winning, which wasn't as far out of the expected range but still not an expected outcome.

Don't worry, in the future we will have a champion in Sprint! ;D ;D
btw: Someone for NT next season?
-
Well done so far, Franky.
And yes, with your Jasper Blair the sprint future looks bright.
I was even very impressed by him without knowing the talent rating and called him a super cyclist (see picture).
Now mega-super-cyclist is a better name. ;)
As always, I'm not lucky with recruiting/scouting, so in this way no contribution to Australia.
But perhaps (or probably) my contribution will be that I am an election candidate for next NT season.
Aurora ; great victory with your Norwegian sprinter Myklebust !
Hopefully again a top result in sprint NT race 6, than he has a real chance to be the individual world champion.
Please do not buy to many point scoring cyclists like Myklebust, AA, because then "my" Australian championship will be in jeopardy. :D

And at the moment 1st in the ranking by countries. 8)
No pressure, Franky, because there is not a 2nd time trial this season. ;)
About the elections, and this text is for every Australian CFF manager ;
Probably I will be a candidate, but it is really no problem to me if I am not elected.
So feel free to be a (real/serious) candidate too, I really don't mind if there are 4 candidates or so, in fact, to me that would be fun. :)

We don't have a great level here, Sheehan is the only gold medal for this race, and even with that...won't be easy, buy maybe the weather can help us today... I also selected a few young guys to improve their experience.

Keith Sheehan Sabmazz
Kirk Trump $Tourmalet
Gerard Bell NervionBike
Grant Curry BLOEMENAANDEMITTE

David Dixon LosTxinosKudeiros
Tony Carter HorsCategorieProTeam
Oliver Stamer FaltososDeChigre
Ryan Pierre Shiro_Lions

Bad race...I was too confident with Nelson, and he got cut off on Section 2...Result: 0 points.
1 race missing, and we are 3rd, it is going to be diffucult to maintain that position, as it is not a pure cobb race...

Already one other NT candidate, so time to start my election campaign early : :D
(https://i.imgur.com/hMQfgkB.jpg)
Vote Vos !
The Australian internationals are very happy when I will be elected.
Because as always when Vos is the NT manager, Doutzen will be the masseuse of the Australian NT.
So you are not voting on just Vos, but with your vote on Vos you are also supporting ánd motivating all Australian internationals.
Next season's masseuse Doutzen, thé secret Australian weapon to international success. :-* 8)
-
Hey, Doutzen is Dutch, not Australian!
In these troubling times, she insists to work in her homeland. This afternoon she released a memo, in which she states that she won't be unnecesarrily traveling around the world, regarding all Covid-19 regulations. She also mentioned to me personally, that she intends to host a private Zoom-meeting with Vos, so she can explain it to him herself. On top of that, she asked me to tell Vos to bring his tissue-box to the meeting ;-) :P
On-Topic: Good luck with the elections, Vos! :)
-
You have my vote, of course!

Hahahaha :))
I'm sure you are misinformed, WiC, by someone pretended to be Doutzen.
And the corona virus is not a computer virus, so CFF is corona free. Even her famous happy ending is possible in CFF.
Besides this, I'm also Dutch, so when a Dutch NT manager for Australia is possible ; a Dutch masseuse is also possible.
On top of that ; she is a Frisian and there is no Frisian national team.
Her next best thing is Australia and not the Netherlands, with as only reason that my team is Australian.
And I always bring my tissue-box when I meet Doutzen, but for different purposes as you think. :P :) :-* 8) :o :)) ;)
On topic ; many thanks, but you know I don't need luck, I have Doutzen to win the elections for me. ;D
You have my vote, of course!
Thanks Franky, it is appreciated a lot. :)
-
Frisians as I understand it, don't recognise themselves as being Dutch, a majority speak their own Germanic language, have a strong desire to retain it, and an alliance with Australia (New Holland) in CFF is a sign of the Frisian's desire to retain their own identity.
-

Haha, I think we both assumed the same... ;D :P
Good luck y'all.
Oh, by the way, I received a World Challenge Card that allows me to switch nations. Before I go and use it though, we have to make sure we have beat you Aussies a few times in NT. Game on again! :)
-

You don't need to do any such thing, everybody knows that my TTers (which gained 920 points in race 4 this season) are going to get old, and we don't have the replacements for them.

The NT loss a few seasons back still stings, I guess. 2 flat TT's in 7 races, that was crap for me, gold for you. ;)

LAST RACE OF THE SEASON (AND MINE)
The 9:
Keith Sheehan Sabmazz
Kirk Trump $Tourmalet
Gerard Bell NervionBike
Grant Curry BLOEMENAANDEMITTE
Nate Douglas SentinelChickens
Alex Byers Fountain
Peter Beckham Team_Klykke
Zack Walkins Quickstepbronx
Jasper Blair Manicomicos_Cycling_Team
Our chances are in Keith for maintaining the position in the top3. Is not going to be easy, but I have some hope. Again, some of our best kids are selected to improve a bit the exp.
-
??? ??? ???
It seems that because of the bug that Oska said in the message, we have lost the 9 selected guys for the race of today. I already written to him in order to know if this is going to change or what...for me it is not fare but...I dont know what is going to happen.
-
Nope, the race is done, and nothing is going to change...we've lost the medal. I'm a bit angry right now, because it was a very very difficult season for us and we were doing it very well...its a shame but...it is what it is...
Good luck to the next manager, I will be training Jasper to be the best sprinter in the game.
-
Too bad, Franky, but a 4th place is also good in this season calendar that was not favorable for Australia.
Anyway, thanks for your effort of being the NT manager and you did very well. 8)
Hopefully next season Australia is more lucky with the season calendar.
Don't forget to vote everyone.
-

Just voted for vos :D

Thanks :)
-
Good luck to the next manager
Thanks :)
And thanks for the votes.
Today I have not much time, but tomorrow I will open a new topic Australia NT season 10.
Including lists, preview(s) and selection for the first NT race ; a flathills-race in Switzerland.
