For my TTers, this is a great result given that they're yet to commence their flat training (next season).  In future seasons, they have the potential of winning, and (with my 20 year olds) have the potential of having 9 Aussies in the top 20.

For course I do have to wonder about the Spanish team's selections, because that page defaulted to season 2, and I noticed that ChessPower's Maximino Laguna (finished 3rd last season) wasn't even selected this season, nor was Higinio Espin (finished 10th ls), also from ChessPower.  I'm seeing a theme here.

WOW, 700 points ! That is an Australian record in one NT race.
Great results in this time trial and Australia temporarily 1st in the ranking by countries.  8)

Isaac Trump (Aurora_Australis) on his way to the best Australian result ever in a NT race (=2nd).

Hello everyone! the 5th international stage is coming to the beautiful city of Bornem, Belgium!

And we will finish in Geraardsbergen.

The race is a hard cob-hills from the BickBank tour, 198km with a soft first part of plain, followed by 2 hard parts of hills, and finishing with 2 hard parts of cobb-hills.

Our selected 9 are:
Elliot Neville
Lenny Pinkney
Gerard Bell
Wendell Burton
Kirk Trump
Steve Sampson
Cameron Jones
Richard Harris
Charlie Brubaker

It would have surprised me a lot when Australia scored points in this cobble hills race.
I mentioned at the start of this season that Australia was just good in 2 out of the 7 races.
And you surprised me already in the sprint stage, Miguel, way more points as I expected.
It cannot be a party all the time.  ;)  And as Franky already mentioned, Australia is still the leader despite zero points, so that is fun.  :)

I am curious about the formula you used for this race, and how it compares to the formula you used for the start-of-season rankings.  Kirk Trump was only 6th in the rankings, but was picked as leader for this race.  By contrast, Nate Douglas was 2nd in the rankings but was not even selected for the race.  Changes in the relative strength of riders over the course of the season because of training differences will happen, of course, but I was surprised at the size of the apparent changes.

Sorry, the formula was diferent I gave more important to hills. And because of the tactic I wanted to use, and the "sun icone" I choose Trump.
I notice now that Douglas was between the 9 better riders, I don´t know why I don´t see him. That was a mistake.

If you see something wrong next time, can you write me to the game and I will check it as soon as posible.

Sorry.

I think I could take some points. And effort more in S3 and I think we had some points.

Ok, you might be right, you are the NT manager, so you are the expert.
My information is based on previous season.
The high training speed in CFF3 together with the talent rating can cause big differences compared to previous season.

I don´t know the rest riders level, but with our rider in the front group in S3 I had the feeling that we can take some points. Not perhaps for his level, but for the good tactic.
I´m sure that was for few, that he wasn´t in front group.

STAGE 6!!

We are getting closer to the end of the season, and we are still leaders with 2 stages to the end. And this time we have a sprint race, in Spain, starting in Ejea de los Caballeros, a small town of Aragon.

And 186 km later, we will arrive to catalan city of Lleida.

Our selected 9 for this race are the same ones that we selected for stage 3, also the leader.

Tony Carter Vitimper
Bobby Jordan LosTxinosKudeiros
Derek Nelson Yvo_Meppelink_ProCycling

I'm trying to be helpfull, this is no criticism. The big picture of Ejea de los Caballeros looks better as this little one, I agree with that.  ;)

Not necessary, you can adjust image size by specifying width and height in the img tag.
