A fierce climb final on the iconic Willunga Hill ; after many attacks the front group was reduced to just 4,
and with 1 km to go, Rüegg ( 23, Swiss champion ) attacked, won solo, and takes the GC lead.

To new participants who want to join the cycling for fun subleague in WCS :

2. Create an account ( it is free ).

3. Join the WCS subleague = cycling for fun
Click a tour or race that is open for participation,
then click leagues, now you see a list of all subleagues, search for cycling for fun and click it.
To join, you have to use a code/password :
by pm you can ask this password to one of the CFF participants who already joined.
You have to use the password just once, after that, in all other tours and races of this and next seasons you are automatically in.
Keep the password secret please, only mention it to a new participant who wants to join.

It is the WCS subleague cycling for fun, so it is for CFF managers of the normal CFF game.
But it is no problem if there are exceptions, for example a friend of you outside the normal CFF game who wants to join.
In this case, please inform one of the administrators ( = Kalarratas and Vos ). More participants = more fun. 
Also ex-CFF managers are very welcome to join the WCS cycling for fun league. Perhaps a motivation to start again in CFF as well.

4. You can change the language ; at the top of your WCS start page ( English, Dutch, Spanish or French ).

5. To play this game costs almost no time, just a few minutes to pick 15 cyclists and answer the extra questions.
You can also read a preview of the tour or race, a lot of previews are online. But this is not necessary to win in the CFF League.

It is up to you how often you want to join in the races and tours of 2025.

6. Do not forget to activate the 15 picks and extra questions with the select button at the bottom of your screen.
After you picked your 15 cyclists and answered the extra questions ; nothing more to do, just relax and enjoy how your picks are doing.

As expected, 0 points in the climb time trial. What caused that Italia dropped from 4th to 6th place in the season ranking.
And it causes that there is nothing to battle for in the last NT race, because the gap to the podium places is too big.

Also because there are just 4 golden flat-cobble-specialists ; 3 low ranked, and the best is the nr 13 in the golden flat-cobble ranking.
But he does not like this NT race ; he prefers way less kilometers and prefers flat sections, or even better, a green-flat-sprint-section 5.
Perhaps even doubtfull if he will be the team captain. But who ever that will be, also a battle for race victory is not possible.

Hopefully my successor will have more luck with the NT schedule of next season, because this season was not in favor of Italia.
With a good season schedule ( for example hillsclimb instead of climb TT ), Italia should be good enough to battle for a podium place.

The just 4 golden flat-cobble specialists are all selected. The last 5 places are for cyclists to gain extra experience & beneficial for Italia.

Splendid top result , thanks to a perfect helper's job of Solari.

Italia even moved up to the 4th place in the season ranking, just 105 points behind the podium places.
But no illusions, because to my estimation ; a podiumplace this season, is far out of reach.
One of the main factors, is the NT climb time trial of next week. It is possible that Italia will score 0 points despite "home-advantage".

Sensational final in the last stage !
After a 39km solo with a real chance to win the GC, Smulders was caught on the finish line by a sprinting peleton, she finished as 4th.
Kopecky won the stage, thanks to a perfect lead out of Wiebes, who almost had to use her brakes to let her team mate win.
And that victory was needed, due to the boni-seconds, for Kopecky to win the final GC as well.
Unless GC leader Koch finished as 3rd, but she sprinted to the 8th place.
