CFFantasy S23

RULES:
Choose 15 cyclists that add up to 45⭐, following these star ratings:

⭐: up to 860 wage
⭐⭐: up to 1500 wage
⭐⭐⭐: up to 4000 wage
⭐⭐⭐⭐: up to 8000 wage
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 8000+ wage

Cyclists that are more than 32 yo will be cheaper, and the following stars will be substracted to those corresponding by wage:

33 yo: -⭐; 34 yo: -⭐⭐; 35 yo: -⭐⭐⭐; 36+ yo: fixed value of 1⭐

Selections must have EXACTLY 15 cyclists. If more or less cyclists are chosen, the selection will not be valid.
For a single selection up to 45⭐ can be spent, but this number can be lower than 45. If more than 45⭐ are spent, the selection will not be valid.
If there are more than one non-valid selections (hopefully not), so I don't have to discard participations I will remove cyclists from the selection until they are not breaking the rules, starting with the cyclist with higher wage.

WAGES: the wages taken to calculate the stars will be the initial wages of the season.
We learned last season that the initial wages of the season will not really be shown until midnight from next Monday to Tuesday, when a decrease in wages will happen. Before that, wages will be equal or higher to the real initial wages.
Also, after 1am update on from Sunday to Monday, wages will be changed for cyclists that have made points on a 1st div race or a NT race. Again, wages of these cyclists will be higher than the initial wages.
Therefore, if you don't want to wait until Tuesday, you can still trust the current wages shown in the game will NOT be LOWER than the actual initial wages. That means that maybe you calculate a higher star rating than the actual one, but NEVER LOWER, so you can trust your stars won't exceed 45.
If when calculating the stars you see that the cyclist has scored points (regular calendar or NT), you can use the following formula to calculate the actual initial wage:

Pre-season wage = Current wage - [current points - points made after last 1am update] - [(current NT points - NT points made after last 1am update) x 3]

DEADLINE

The first scoring race will be Strade Bianche, therefore the deadline will be Wednesday 9th March at 23:59, CFF time. IMPORTANT: please specify when a rider is more than 32 years old when doing the selection. Selections can be sent via CFFantasy (https://forms.gle/GJSCkFKGMh2pot1w7), and they will be published on the following day or whenever I have time to put them together. I can receive them on discord chat as well, but whenever possible just fill the form, so I can download them together.
If anyone wants to change their selection before the deadline, they only have to re-submit the selection on the Google Form, under the same team name. I will take the last selection submitted.

PRIZE

The winner will get a month of supporter for free, as previous seasons.

I have to announce that this is my last season organizing the CFFantasy/CFF Predictions. If anyone would like to take over it, I'll happily give them the excel file that automatically counts the points (for CFFantasy o CFF Predictions).

Many thanks, ophiuko, for organising this for many seasons ; a very well deserved BIG BRAVO to you !  8)

I enjoyed to participate and I enjoyed to read the frequent posts.
The points system was really smart thought out and impressive ! ( Without kidding ; the UCI should hire you to improve their points systems. )

Despite I enjoyed it a lot, I'm not taking over,
because I'm already way too busy in CFF with my own team + sometimes helping others + CFF League in WCS.
Hopefully someone takes over, or creates something like this, then for sure I will participate again. :)
