Denis Anderson's (England) record run of 5 NT wins is broken.  The race is also historic because it's the most ever points of an NT team in a single race (and with the 23 & 22 year olds coming up, unless race 6 produces a similar result, it'll never be repeated).  Anderson remains slight favourite for race 6.

Race 4 : 955 Points

Results: 1st   Richard Levin      25   0: 00"   300 points
3rd   Paul Clickett      24   0: 03"   225 points
4th   Isaac Trump      25   0: 06"   200 points
9th   Christian Pinkney      24   0: 12"   130 points
12th   Ben Mitchum      25   0: 14"   100 points

Race 5

Quote
Selections :
Grant Curry   25   BLOEMENAANDEMITTE
Kirk Trump   25   $Tourmalet (leader?)
Nate Douglas   25   SentinelChickens
Alex Byers   24   ChessPower (leader?)
Keith Sheehan   24   Sabmazz

Four more to be selected.
Prospects: Not good.
Dutch:  The Dutch will be hoping for somewhere above 400 points this race.  Further above 400 points they obtain, the more they become the favourites for the NT title.  There's little we can do, but hope other (non-Dutch) NT managers bring their top games on Sunday.

I had planned to do this after WiC gained over 400 points in race 5, but he didn't, however I'm going to post this anyway.

With the Dutch team not scoring what was predicted last race, we're now unbackable favourites to win the championship (btw thx Vos for discouraging me from setting a certain set of tactics).

Race 6

Quote
Selections :
Ben Mitchum   25   Aurora_Australis
Isaac Trump   25   Aurora_Australis
Owen Acree   25   Aurora_Australis
Richard Levin   25   Aurora_Australis
Christian Pinkney   24   Aurora_Australis
Neil Bell   24   Aurora_Australis
Paul Clickett   24   Aurora_Australis

Two more to be selected.  Below is the current standard calculation.  At the moment we're looking at Slipper, and either Malone or Wilson.
Quote
Score   Name   Age   Team
92.76   Jim Slipper   25   Frenkie
92.60   Dan Malone   24   TeamEuroscalt
92.53   George Bookout   25   Aurora_Australis
92.48   Hank Kewell   25   Frenkie
91.87   David Wilson   23   Frenkie
Prospects: 55% chance at 1st (Levin), two more in top 5 (Clickett & Trump), 6th or 7th (Pinkney), several more in points.  The 23 year olds (particularly ChronoTony's cyclists) will score a bunch of points, knocking loads of older cyclists down the order.  With my team in TT training, they'll hopefully be protected from that somewhat, and certainly my three best will be above that.  Last chance ever to get a new points record in a single race.

Results:
1st   Isaac Trump      25   0: 00"   300 points
3rd   Richard Levin      25   0: 05"   225 points
4th   Paul Clickett      24   0: 12"   200 points
6th   Christian Pinkney      24   0: 14"   160 points
12th   Ben Mitchum      25   0: 19"   100 points
16th   Owen Acree      25   0: 22"   60 points

Isaac Trump proves that he deserves equal top billing with Levin.

Last chance ever to get a new points record in a single race.

Well, even if your amazing TT specialists do not succeed in breaking their own record, the current record will be very hard to break for any other country in the future. I estimate that the current Australian record (or new record this Sunday) will remain for a very long time.  8)
The current record  :) =

Richard Levin (Aus) on his way to victory.
NT race 4, the time trial, Australian results = 1st, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 12th. This is a record total of 955 points !  8)
Well done with all cyclists of your own team, Aurora Australis !
At the moment Australia is 2nd in the season ranking, just 205 points behind the Netherlands.
It seems to me that Australia is thé top favorite to become the world champion this season. :)

About this last sentence, and this remark in your post :
we're now unbackable favourites to win the championship
True, because the Netherlands scored zero points in the previous exact same time trial.
And Australia is just 470 points behind at this moment.
Even when the best Dutch TT specialist can score a few points ( in previous TT he was 25th, just 1 second behind the points ), and Australia scores less points as in the previous time trial ; Australia will have a very good lead when NT race 7 starts.

And NT race 7 is on flat cobblestones.
That is perfect for Australia, because "on paper" we are better in flat cobblestones than the Netherlands.
Whether that will be the case in practice, we have to see. Maybe another GV as in the golden list because of the long distance and the 2 flat sections, and maybe there will be storm in this race what makes it tactical interesting and challenging.
But according to me the golden flat cobble list can give a good indication ;
Australia; nr 3 Friend and the numbers 19, 36, 39, 60, 63 - versus - the Netherlands; numbers 45, 46, 47.

Sometimes my predictions come true :  ;)
To me it seems the expectations are very high for season 7 ; Australia world champion again ?  8)

To me no doubt that Australia will achieve another very prestigious record ; the most points ever in one season of all countries. 8)

And if Levin can win again, he will have the individual record of most points ever in one season of all cyclists.
But that is an "if" at the moment.
First things first ; Levin has to battle with Jobet (FRA) for the individual world championship of this season.
In the previous time trial Jobet finished as 2nd on just 0:02", so he can be a fierce rival. Good luck, AA !

Congratulations AA. You made the best of the calendar this season with the 2 flat TT's. Too bad not all the best cyclists were at the start in all races for all the nations, but that is not in (y)our hands of course. Great performance of your own well trained cyclists. Keep up the good work!  :)

Nice victory of Trump, and a new record in this NT race 6 ; a total of 1.045 points in one NT race. :o  :)
Already sure ; Australia will be the world champion in the most points ever in one season.
Levin finished as 3rd in this time trial, and he will win the individual world championship.

Great season with your TT-specialists, AA, well done !  8)

Make sure you buy a couple of beer kegs for the UK manager... he really took the Brexit idea to the extreme :P

To me a better measure is ; one year no beer drinking for the UK manager.  ;)
But you are right, Australia benefited of the not registered UK time trialists for NT race 6.
In previous exact same NT race ; 5th (your Anderson ! A shame he was not selected), 13th an 19th for Great Britain.

No, I'm not going to be manager for next season; I had decided this when I nominated for this season, was lucky enough for this season, and more than happy to see somebody else take over.

CyKings didn't sign his cyclists up for the current tour either, so just hope there's nothing wrong.

The missing Spanish riders didn't make much difference, ChessPower's cyclists are no longer top 10 material, but Anderson missing had a potential significant impact.  I notice lots of ChronoTony's cyclists up there, so it's going to be very crowded from next season.

I will write him on whatsapp just to check.

About the NT...if nobody else wants the position I can take it, but is true that I dont have all the time that I would want to do it...
