That's one of the reasons why I try to make my team last minute: no time for regrets or changes  ;D

However the Tour is very long, everything can change a lot.

If you exclude those users who pick only young riders on their teams, I'm 1st of all WCS in the youth classification  :P

Prince of Youth Trophy winners =

1. Vos = 25 + 21 + 20
2. ophiuko = 24 + 23 + 22
(?)3. pizzaboys = 19

2018 was the first time I started to keep score with the season trophies.
I cannot find the 2018 data now, what does not matter, because you were not active back then.

The years 2017 and 2016 should also have winners of who won the most white jerseys, despite there were no season trophies yet.
It can be looked up in the WCS data, what is a very big time consuming effort.
And not needed, because I'm 100% certain that pizzaboys did not win it all 3x in those 3 unknown years.

So, you are for sure the nr 2 in the CFF League all time ranking Prince of Youth Trophy.
Not nr 1, because of the rule in every ranking = the one who won last, will be ranked higher.
And I beat you in previous year ( 2025 ) with 14 versus 12 white jerseys.  :D

But you have the record of most white jerseys won in one season ; that was in 2024 with a total of 24 white jerseys.  :o

Hopefully at the end of this season I'll be King of Princes (or Prince of Princes? :P) again

Thanks for the updates, Vos! Busy week, I barely had time to do my teams last Wednesday morning with all the tour starting on the same day!

It would be nice to see a summary of all-time trophies at the end of the season, I think I've been prince 2 or 3 times now.

I've got 5 2nd places in a row. Definitely beating the record for most second places this season too.  ;D

Current ranking Emperor of Stage Wins Trophy ( with just 5 more stages to go, if WCS does not add a tour ) =
1.  Mitte    62
2.  Vos    60
3.  ophiuko    59

Really bad luck on Langkawi for me on the stage results. Missed victories on stages 2, 3, 4 and 6 by only 1, 4, 2 and 6 points. Quite a trend for me this season, did a lot of 2nd places, hopefully will be compensated next season by winning lots of races by minimum points  :P

WCS uses the points scored by riders and teams on a stage to determine the WCS stage winner. There have been points scored on this stage, so there should be a winner. There are less points being given compared to a normal stage, but that also happens in TTTs and we still have a stage winner.

https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/collaboration-not-coercion-teams-disqualified-over-gps-safety-trackers-at-tour-de-romandie-concerned-about-lack-of-consent-and-fairness/

Teams do not consent to the UCI’s imposition of the use of the tracking devices in the race (or any race for that matter).

However, as the UCI is threatening the Teams with disqualification should a Team resist/refuse this, the Teams will not stop the UCI and/or its partner(s) from attaching tracking devices on its bicycles as the Teams do not have the time to legally challenge this position and believe it would be grossly unfair to all teams, the Teams’ riders, the race organiser and the fans if the Teams are disqualified from the race over a tracking test the UCI wishes to impose as the regulator for for the benefit of itself as a race organiser.

However, the UCI is hereby put on notice that this will be done at the UCI/its partners’ own liability, vis-à-vis the Teams and the relevant riders. We have instructed our staff to take a picture of any person attaching a device on the bicycle of the Team and to request full ID information from such person. Such person will also be held personally liable for any accident, injury or damage resulting from such device.

This article sheds more light on the issue. It has been transpired as if the issue was only about picking one of the riders, but after seeing this communication from the teams it is quite clear that they were not cooperating and threatening with legal actions to UCI individuals if anything happened to any rider that was carrying the device. Ultimately, I understand UCI decision of not taking any risks (a crash could happen for any other reason and then the teams would still put the blame on the tracker device) and not letting the teams take part in the race.

On the other hand, if this was announced with enough notice, teams should have spoken to UCI way before the race to raise their concerns, rather than just not cooperating before the race.

The UCI spokesperson concluded: "It should be noted that most of these teams are part of the Velon organisation which is the owner of its own data transmission system and is working on the development of its own GPS tracking system.

Again, I put the blame on the teams and the economic interests/companies that are behind them which probably has encouraged them not to cooperate with UCI's testing methods.

I'm on UCI's side on this one.

If you go to the tour page in WCS and click on game you can still see the picks in the CFF league  ;D I had Blasi and Zigart  :'(

PCS summary of what happened:
Before the start of the race, the UCI announced a safety test using GPS tracking devices to be conducted during this Tour de Romandië Féminin. As part of this test, each team had to pick one of their riders to have the device installed on their time trial bike. Some teams refused to elect one of their riders, handing the choice back to the UCI. When the UCI in turn refused to pick the riders, the teams who ultimately decided against picking a rider themselves, were refused the start.

I've also read it could have been a matter of financial partners. Apparently those five teams could have some sort of agreement with a GPS systems supplier different from the one that UCI uses, hence why they refused to participate. I can't believe it was just a matter of choosing one of their riders, it must be more than that. Once again, economic interests spoil a sport. Let's hope this is an isolated case and cycling does not go as bad as football has.

Crazy similarities between the teams on this Tour of Denmark. Only 3 different riders between you and me Vos, and even less with Mitte. Overall, we only differ in two 1-star riders and the MC winner.

I have faith in Alex Colman and his usual presence in breakaways  ;D
