Bad race, good result, Franky ! And a good result is more important. ;)
The reason that this is possible seems to me ; many NT managers were not satisfied how this stormy race went.

Good luck with sprinter Derek Nelson in the next NT race, he is for sure good enough to score points ( 5th s6 and 11th s7 ).
But especially in NT sprint stages, you never know how it will go, tactically it is always a bit of a gamble. And gambling can go well or wrong.

Nelson isn't good enough to score points, we've been lucky that other CFF NT managers have sucked in these races, making us look better.  And the cyclist who should have been leader gold 9 star, has something like 15 experience or so now, which is a complete waste.

Best luck on exceeding their capabilities & scoring points Franky.

Yes, you are totally right AA.
Now I looked it up, and I see in the golden sprinters list that Nelson is just 88th and Carter 70th.

Well, luckily for Franky the Australians of NT race 4 are better ranked in their golden list.  ;)
So, after NT race 4 the ranking by nations will look better as it is now, and more fun for Franky to compete higher in that ranking.

RACE 3. MONTREUX - MONTREUX

Sprint race with a bit of wind. And this, the wind is the only thing that can make this race a bit different and unpredictable.

The Selected 9

Derek Nelson Yvo_Meppelink_ProCycling
David Dixon LosTxinosKudeiros
Liam Duffy Compos
Tony Carter Vitimper
Markus Norwood ProCyclingTeam10
Bobby Jordan LosTxinosKudeiros
Gordon Woods RealOviedo
Stu Woods TeamRHB
Oliver Stamer FaltososDeChigre

50 points would be great, but not sure about the general level of Derek in comparison with the rest, according to the gold sprinters, he is the #89, but there are also sprint hillers before him...

And a part of CFF, I hope all the best to the people of the game in this difficult days, here in Spain the situation is chaotic. This is going to be hard. STAY AT HOME, DONT SPREAD THE VIRUS, BE SAFE!!

Bad race yesterday...in T2 far from the top positions, so then...0 points. Was not easy, if I would have chosen a more conservative tactic then in T5 probably it would be harder to get points...

It's doubtful that points were possible, can only hope Brent Hunter 22, or Ryan Pierre 21 will one day be good enough.
Now for the big question, will all 8 of my full aged TTers make the team (I believe 7 [by my TTers] is the most selected by any CFF nation from one team for any race), and Bookout has improved since the start of the season.

Nice results, Franky (and Aurora Australis), although it is by far not the Australian race record in points of the time trial of previous season.
But Australia gained many places in the ranking by countries and at the moment a good 3rd place, just 5 points below the number 2.
And for Franky this information seems to me important also = 375 points above the 7th place.  :))  ;)
Good luck in the next cobblehills NT race !

As I stated last season, that record will never be matched again.  And as I predicted, people will be shocked at seeing the results below Levin & Trump, with the 24 year olds kicking so many older guys down the order.
The good news is that Levin will continue increasing his measure against Anderson, who's the only non-Aussie 25-26 year old to stand against the younger onslaught.  There's a question of 23 year old Yank David McDermot performing better than expected, and is Levin's & Trump's final challenge until old age catches them, but that's something for next year; or this season's TT WC as McDermot's now in a top tier team.

Don't expect points in the next race, but miracles can happen.

RACE 5. ROESELARE - WAREGEM

Don't expect points today... just 1 point would be a miracle, the level is not good at all, but...who knows!! This is why I just selected the best 3 cobhills and then, the best 2 young cobhills and some other very good young cyclist from other areas that need experience.

Kirk will be our leader, and Alex and Keith the helpers. Cross your fingers.

The Selected 9
Kirk Trump $Tourmalet
Alex Byers Fountain
Keith Sheehan Sabmazz

Markus Moore G78
Peter Coleman Frenkie
Tim Morton PoulnikovTeam
Natham Miller BlackHole
Ryan Pierre Shiro_Lions
Zack Walkins Quickstepbronx

A miraculous 20 points in this race, well done Franky !  :)
The next NT race 6 is again not a desirable / not a suited race for Australia, so all the hope is on the final NT race 7 of this season.
And who knows, maybe these 20 extra points will be decisive. Currently the battle for a podiumplace is very close between many countries.
Good luck !

Surprising 20 points yes. For the next race, even if the level is not so great, I have more confidence than in yesterday's race.
