On top of his good start, Kalarratas is the only CFF-participant who didn't select Tom Dumoulin, a 5-star cyclist who has just abandoned the Giro. Sad news for Tom, perhaps good news for Kalarratas.

I would have preferred Dumoulin to be still in the race as a top contender he is although his abandon might benefit me somehow in the end because I have never ever performed well in GT'S fantasy games

Team Jumbo-Visma was supreme in this tour with 5 stage victories, 1st GC and 2nd GC.

In his mountain jersey Ciccone was in the break away group and he wins the sprint á deux for stage 16 victory.
Concerning the GC ; Roglic (now 3rd) lost time to the group of pink jersey Carapaz, now 2nd Nibali and 4th Landa.
