WCS 2019
« on: January 12, 2019, 07:57:36 PM »
The old forum is deleted, so from now on the WCS will be on this forum.
For those who want to play the WCS, this is how to participate :

Sagan wins a stage in the Tour Down Under of 2018.

A new season starts in the World Cycling Stats !   8)

For new participants who want to join the cycling for fun subleague in WCS :

1. Click this link :  http://www.worldcyclingstats.com/en/games

2. Create an account ( it is free ).

3. Join the cycling for fun subleague.
Click a tour or race that is open for participation, then click leagues, now you see a list of all subleagues, search for cycling for fun and click it.
To join, you have to use this code/password : SMJVO3G5
Participants who already joined the cycling for fun subleague do not have to use the password,
they just have to click the cycling for fun subleague and are automatically in.

4. You can change the language ; at the top of your WCS start page ( English, Dutch, Spanish or French ).

5. To play this game costs almost no time, just a few minutes to pick 15 cyclists and answer the extra questions.
You can also read a preview of the tour or race, a lot of previews are online. But this is not necessary, in my experience sometimes better results when you do the 15 picks + extra questions very fast without reading a preview.

6. After you picked your 15 cyclists and answered the extra questions ; nothing more to do, just relax and enjoy how your picks are doing. Do not forget to activate the 15 picks and extra questions with the select button at the bottom of your screen.

7. Enjoy and have fun !  :)

next tour :
1 day and 3 hours left to join.

In 2019 the number of CFF participants is way lower as in 2018 and 2017.
For example the Tirreno ; in the previous two seasons twice as many CFF participants.
I assume and hope that is because of the low activity due to the changes in the CFF game the past half year.

Now the new CFF3 game starts, I hope there will be enough CFF participants in the WCS again. Good luck and have fun everyone !  :)

Volta a Catalunya : So far just a few CFF participants.
In 2018 there were 16 CFF participants in this tour. Txonys was the victor.
In 2017 oldmen won this tour in a CFF League of 15 CFF participants.
