Thx Franky. Seeing the low level of Australian talents (except TT) -- most of our top cyclists are either 7 star or low 8 star, and the depth of talent isn't great -- it's clear we have a major opportunity to promote to the Spanish speaking community, particularly those training 19 year olds.
There's a significant advantage in Spanish players sending their international scout to Australia, and that's the fact any 19 year old Australian cyclist trained well has a real opportunity to be racing NTs by age 23-24 (or maybe even being captain), whereas if the scouts remain in Spain (or other major CFF nation), their cyclists won't see any NT action until age 28-30.
