WCS 2020
« on: January 17, 2020, 07:01:45 PM »

Mads Pedersen (DEN) wins the 2019 world championship road race in a very wet Yorkshire.

A new season starts in the World Cycling Stats !   8)

For CFF participants who joined the cycling for fun subleague in previous years, but not yet in 2020 ;
the password was changed on 31 January 2020, so ask the new password to one of the CFF particpants who already joined in 2020
.

For new participants who want to join the cycling for fun subleague in WCS :

1. Click this link :  http://www.worldcyclingstats.com/en/games

2. Create an account ( it is free ).

3. Join the WCS subleague = cycling for fun
Click a tour or race that is open for participation,
then click leagues, now you see a list of all subleagues, search for cycling for fun and click it.
To join, you have to use a code/password : by pm you can ask this password to one of the CFF participants who already joined.
You have to use the password just once, after that, in all other tours and races of this season you are automatically in.
Keep the password secret please, just mention it to a new CFF participant who wants to join.

It is the WCS subleague cycling for fun, so it is for CFF managers of the normal CFF game.
But it is no problem if there are a few exceptions, for example a friend of you outside the normal CFF game who wants to join.
In this case, please inform one of the administrators ( = Kalarratas and Vos ) about this.

4. You can change the language ; at the top of your WCS start page ( English, Dutch, Spanish or French ).

5. To play this game costs almost no time, just a few minutes to pick 15 cyclists and answer the extra questions.
You can also read a preview of the tour or race, a lot of previews are online. But this is not necessary, in my experience sometimes better results when you do the 15 picks + extra questions very fast without reading a preview.

It is up to you how often you want to join in the races and tours of 2020.
There are many CFF managers who join so now and then. Also some CFF managers join just the important races and tours.

6. After you picked your 15 cyclists and answered the extra questions ; nothing more to do, just relax and enjoy how your picks are doing. Do not forget to activate the 15 picks and extra questions with the select button at the bottom of your screen.

7. Enjoy and have fun !  :)

You're welcome, and for sure I and all CFF participants have to thank you as well, WinterIsComing.  8)
Because I have a few mail-addresses and this one I don't use often. And Steven contacted you as well by email, and you informed me / made me aware of this. So without your help this was not solved as soon as it is solved now.

Gaviria wins stage 4. And in the picture ; Flórez wins stage 5 on Alto Colorado.
Evenepoel is the GC leader with 2 more flat stages to go.
It is looking good he will win, he just have to watch out he will not be behind because of the hard wind, during stage 5 this was the case but he and his teammates could return just before the final mountain (that was not very steep).

CFF League :
stage 4 winner = Patrick Kok   8)
stage 5 winner = WinterIsComing   8)
Vos is the GC leader, but here still everything can happen with 2 more stages (and extra questions) to go.

Trofeo Ses Salines-Felanitx : Moschetti wins this one-day-race.

CFF League winner = Patrick Kok   8)

Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana : Buchmann wins this one-day-race.

CFF League winner = Kalarratas   8)
