During this weekend I tried change our domain to the new server provider. Today they give me a code to change it. Now I paid in new hosting and they said me that usually in 5-7 days if past domain provider don't give me more problems I can have cyclingforfun.org in new host.
After they have to change me managercycling files to the new server and I have to update database.
When all is ok, I open the game to all teams to make their teams. I will try to send mail to past users and I wish all you help me promote the game.
If all the change domain process is not completed in next week, maybe I have to put a new date to start the game, not on march 25th as I said before.

FAQ / TRAINING
« on: February 16, 2019, 11:43:44 AM »
(note: everything is stolen from the Spanish forum, or the doubts thread, or somewhere else)

*Coach & Basic Training*

Your trainer coach is specialized in training only one skill.

* Training With Coach Speciality
If your cyclist is training to the coach's speciality, the skill improvements (without bonuses) are as follows.
0 and 20 - 100% = +0.75 skill per training session
20 and 40 - 80% = +0.60 skill per training session
40 and 60 - 60% = +0.45 skill per training session
60 and 80 - 40% = +0.30 skill per training session
80 and 90 - 20% = +0.15 skill per training session
90 and 100 - 10% = +0.075 skill per training session

* Training Without Coach Speciality
If your cyclist is training in a different skill, then that cyclist will train at 70% (of the above) efficiency.
0-20 = +0.525
20-40 = +0.42 skill per training session
40-60 = +0.315 skill per training session
60-80 = +0.21 skill per training session
80-90 = +0.105 skill per training session
90-100 = +0.051 skill per training session

* Trainer Speciality
Quote: "Your trainer is a specialist in _______
You train this skill at normal speed (100%); you train all other skills at 70% of the normal speed"

If you set your trainer speciality to Cobblestone.
then
Any cyclist training in Cobblestone will train at 100% efficiency.
Any cyclists training in a different skill (eg: hills - sprint - stamina etc) will train at 70% efficiency.

*Bonuses*

Bonuses affect training speed.

* Talent
All cyclists have a hidden talent attribute.  This affects how fast your cyclists will train.  A cyclist with 0 talent will not gain a talent training bonus, whereas a 5 talent cyclist will gain a 30% training bonus (above base training).

Distribution of the percentage of runners and talents: -
Talent 0 = 0% training bonus
Talent 1 = 4% training bonus
Talent 2 = 9% training bonus
Talent 3 = 15% training bonus
Talent 4 = 22% training bonus
Talent 5 = 30% training bonus

There are same number of cyclist in every talent value.

* U24 Bonus
U24 cyclists gain 0.02 in every skill (all skills - including aggression, not just skill being trained [doesn't include experience]) per training session (regardless of whether the cyclist is training or resting).  This equals an increase of ≈2 per skill per season.
This is not affected by any other training bonuses or penalties.

*Other Items*

* Decimals
All skills are in decimals (eg 56.38); the decimals simply aren't displayed.

* Maximum Skill
The maximum achievable in a skill is 100 (100.00).  Continuing training in that skill beyond that provides zero benefit.

* Health
If your cyclists trains, he loses one health point with each training session.  Resting will improve health.  Hiring a masseur &/or doctor with 'Recovery' skill will improve resting benefit.

* Form
Form below 90% will reduce training effeciency.
<90% to 85% form = 10% slower training
<85% to 80% form = 20% slower training
<80% form = 30% slower training

* Aggression
Aggression can't be trained directly.
Every 10 points of hills or sprint up one of aggression.
Every 20 points of mountains, plains or stamina decreases aggression by one.
[aggression also gains u23 bonus - at the same rate as other skills]

*Age 31+

From age 24 to age 30, cyclists lose 0.005 in every skill every training session
The skill training speed is 33% than before 24 years.

*Age 31+
From age 31, cyclists begin to lose trained skills in every training session.

Extra: Youth Training Tip
As this has been stated so many times in the English-Spanish-Dutch "Ask Anything" threads.

It's generally accepted that if you're training youth cyclists, you must do the following:
* Have the Doctor-Masseur's "cumulative fatigue" score at 195+ (see staff faq).
* Have all youth cyclists training in the same main skill.
* Have the trainer coach specialising in that same skill
(see above).
* Keep training in that one main skill until your youth cyclists are at least 90 in that skill before changing team training.
* Race youth cyclists as per "form bonus"
(see staff faq).
It's generally accepted that if you can't commit to this type of training schedule, then don't train youth cyclists.

1.The achievements are hidden. No one knows how many achievements are in the game.

2. The achievements don’t give any monetary reward.

3. Having more achievements than another team does not mean that your tea mis better.

4. The more achievements you have, the higher your manager level will be.

5. Is just for fun. So try to get the maximum achievements you can.

FAQ / DEBT
« on: February 16, 2019, 11:39:08 AM »
1.   A team with debts will not dissapear, and also will not be required to restructure his economy. However, is recommendable to do it faster because being in the red has the following consequences:

2.   Being in the red does not allow:
-   Promote cyclists
-   Sign cyclists from the transfer market
-   Send the international scout
-   Buy equipment
-   Hire staff

3.   Being in the red allows
-   Continue playing
-   Sing up at the races
-   Sack staff members (however, it will increase your debt in the short term)
-   Set cyclists on the transfer market
-   Sell the equipment
-   Sack cyclists.

FAQ / TRAINING CAMPS
« on: February 16, 2019, 11:33:21 AM »
(note: everything is stolen from the Spanish forum, or the doubts thread [now Ask Anything], or the Dutch, or somewhere else)

Basic info on training camps is on the CFF training camp page:
http://www.cyclingforfun.org/cff/concentracion.php
I won't repeat what's there.  This FAQ is mainly to  clarify common questions people may have about training camps.

*TC Bonus Once a Season*

A cyclist can only have a TC bonus once per season.  Note, the timeframe is for when the cyclist has the bonus, not for when he was in the training camp.  A simple table might make things easier to understand.

Quote
   Sent to TC (before TS)      Exit TC (after TS)      TC bonus starts (race)      TC bonus ends (race)      Can use TC next season?
   62      76      103      90
   63      77      104      91
   64 > 87      78 > 91      78 > 91      118
   88      1      1      15
   89      2      2      16
*TS = Training session (TS session number is always prior to the race of the same number)

If you send your cyclist to a training camp during TS days 64 to 77, he'll have the TC bonus for less than 15 race days.
Note: If the cyclist has already used his TC bonus this season, you can send him to a training camp after training session 77.

*TC Time of day*

You may have noticed above, it's mentioned that the training camp's 15 days is counted from the same time as the game's normal training sessions (1:00am & 7:00am).  What this means, is that if you enlist your cyclist to a TC before this time, your cyclist will only actually be unavailable for 14 races, not 15.

*Bonus to above 100 skill*

The TC bonus is the one time when your cyclist can have over 100 in a skill.  So, if your climber's stat is normally 99, with the climbing TC bonus, he can go into races with 102 in climbing (or even more with staff TC bonuses).

*Changing Staff*

If you change your masseur-doctor halfway through the TC bonus period, then the new Training Camp values will apply to the remaining races.

*Selling Cyclists & TC Bonus*

Quote : "If a cyclist is sold... he will loose the bonus (if the bonus is still active). However, he will be able to go again to the training camp."

In other words, the old team could race the cyclist with the TC bonus active for 14 days before he was sold, and because the full 15 days wasn't used by the old team, you can put the cylist into another training camp.

*Other Questions*

How much does your masseur-doctor TC value increase a TC bonus?
Don't know.  This is apparently hidden, and hasn't been made public.

If I have a cyclist who's in a training camp until after race 33, can I sign him up for race 34 while he's still in the training camp?
Yes

Are training camps much good?
Division 1 teams swear by the bonus, mainly because every single point of cyclist skill counts (plus there's an income to cost ratio to consider).
But for division 3?
I could show a page of maths, but economically, TCs in div3 won't make a profit in a majority of situations.  If your cyclist would finish 4th in a Grand Tour, then finishing 3rd (>break even) or 2nd (>€35k profit) may work, but if your cyclist is finishing 15th, then sending the cyclist to a TC will lose you money.
Of course, maybe money isn't the prime consideration, so it's up to the individual.

Is it useful to send u23 cyclists to a training camp:  Short answer.  NO.
Longer answer.  The TC bonus is temporary (15 races).  Your u23 cyclists will gain zero long-term benefit from a training camp.  Besides, u23 cyclists should be for long-term gains, not short-term results.  Any points a u23 cyclist gets is a bonus.  Plus, a u23 cyclist won't make up the cost in improved race results.  If you want to help your young cyclists, then correct normal training, correct staff, correct racing, is the way to do this.  TC is a short-term bonus only.

Note : TC = Training Camp

FAQ / STAFF
« on: February 16, 2019, 11:26:23 AM »
These two pages contains basic staff information.  I won't repeat what's there.
http://www.cyclingforfun.org/cff/tecnicos.php
http://www.cyclingforfun.org/cff/ayudaeng.php
Most of what's below is more technical information which has been made public.

* Hiring & Firing *

* You may hire staff members at any time. The staff market has new available staff appearing 6 times a day (every four hours starting from 0:38AM); with those not hired within a day disappearing.
* Firing a staff member costs the following
1st division: 30 weeks of sacked staff member wages
2nd division: 15 weeks wages
3rd division: 10 weeks wages
4th division: 7.5 weeks wages
* However between seasons, you can fire a staff member for free.  The season finishes after race 91. The game updates at 00:00 A.M. From this moment till the next Monday at 5:00 A.M (when the new season starts), it costs zero to fire your staff.
*Staff Retires at age 65

* Doctor & Masseur *
* Cumulative Fatigue & Health Loss*

* HEALTH POINT LOSS TO COMPETE
With no doctor or masseur, your cyclist will lose 20 health points with every stage he races.  This makes a doctor's & masseur's combined cumulative fatigue score extremely important.  Their combined score in this area will reduce race health loss by the amounts below.

00 to 05           06 to 15         16 to 25         26 to 35         36 to 45      46 to 55
    -20                    -19                  -18                  -17                  -16               -15
56 to 65           66 to 75          76 to 85         86 to 95         96 to 105
    -14                    -13                  -12                  -11                  -10
106 to 115     116 to 125     126 to 135     136 to 145     146 to 155
        -9                    -8                    -7                    -6                    -5
156 to 165     166 to 175     176 to 185     186 to 194     195 to 202
        -4                    -3                    -2                    -1                     -0

Therefore, if the sum of doctor-masseur fatigue is greater than 194, your cyclist doesn't lose health when competing (Note: Can personally confirm that 99 & 96 = 0 health loss in races).

* Recovery & Health Gain *

* HEALTH GAIN POINTS TO REST
With no doctor or masseur, your cyclist will gain 10 health points with every training session he rests from.  A doctor's & masseur's combined recovery score will increase this by the amounts below.

  00 to 09         10 to 29         30 to 49          50 to 69          70 to 89       90 to 109
     +10                +11                  +12                  +13                  +14               +15
110 to 129     130 to 149     150 to 169     170 to 189     190 to 202
     +16                 +17                  +18                 +19                  +20

(Note: health doesn't affect training effectiveness - only race effectiveness)

* Form *

* Cyclist's Form with no doctor or masseur
- Less than 5 stages will be raced with 90 form.
- 5 to 14 = 93 form
- From 15 to 24 = 100 form
- 25 to 34 = 92 form
- From 35 to 44 = 87 form
- From 45 to 54 = 82 form
- More than 54 = 75 form
(note : form under 90 will reduce training effectiveness)

* Form Gain
A doctor's & masseur's form benefit is calculated separately at
1 - 9 = 0 bonus
10 - 29 = 1 bonus
30 - 49 = 2 bonus
50 - 69 =3 bonus
70 - 89 = 4 bonus
+90 = 5 bonus

This means a doctor with 11 form & masseur with 31 form [42 total] will gain each cyclist a +3 form bonus; but a doctor & masseur both with 29 form [58 total] will only gain each cyclist +2 form.
+3 form is important, because it means a cyclist can be in 44 races without acquiring training effectiveness penalties (instead of 34).
+8 form (ie doctor 55[+3] & masseur 92[+5]) means a cyclist can be in 54 races without acquiring training effectiveness penalties.

Just a reminder that low form will also reduce race performance (as does low health).
(note : form can't go over 100%)

* Training Camp Bonus *

Normally, with no staff training camp skill, your cyclists will gain +3, +2 & +1 bonus in three skills (depending on training selected) for 15 race days after completing a training camp.
Doctor & Masseur training camp skill simply provides your cyclists with an extra bonus for 15 race days after completing the training camp.

(Note: amount of increase hasn't been revealed)

Mechanic
* Breakdowns *

* "Breakdowns" has influence in all sections and all stages

Based on Skuk's & Pantani's explainations:
The system works like a random lottery.  Each race section, your cyclist will have a random luck number (say from 0 to 100).  A luck number of 0-5 will equal a fall, whilst a luck number between 6-10 equals a mechanical breakdown.  As such, in this lottery, your cyclist may have an incident 10% of the time.
00 to 05           06 to 10         11 to 100
     fall              mechanical        no incident
(My Note : Actual accident chance may be different than stated)

However, if you have a mechanic, his breakdown skill increases the possible maximum luck number, say from a maximum of 100, to a maximum of 200.  What this means is that with more numbers in the luck lottery, the chances of drawing a bad luck number (0-10) is reduced.
00 to 05           06 to 10         11 to 200
     fall              mechanical        no incident
(My Note : Actual accident chance may be different than stated)

* Equipment Improvements *

If you have a mechanic/marketing manager, his equipment improvement/equipment skill will determine the likelihood of your equipment improving each (real) day (every second game day).

According to the Spanish forum, this works on a luck lottery basis, the higher skill your staff has, the more likely your equipment will improve.

If there are 500 numbers in the lottery.
Zero skill = zero lottery tickets = zero chance of equipment improvement each (real) day
50 skill = 50 tickets = 10% chance of equipment improvement each day
100 skill = 100 tickets = 20% chance of equipment improvement each day
(Note : Actual equipment improvement chance may be different than stated)

This chance appears to be individual for each staff member, so you might be lucky and gain two equipment improvements in one day, or be unlucky and not gain any improvement for 5 days (even with max skill).

Note: All info is based on best known public knowledge.

FAQ / EQUIPMENT
« on: February 16, 2019, 11:25:50 AM »
1. You can compete without any equipment. However, this equipment (Level 0) will not improve regardless of the level of your staff.

2. You will loose your equipment at the end of the season, regardless of the date of purchase.

3. Your equipment will improve during the season depending on the level of your mechanic and head of marketing.

4. The equipment can improve in any update, depending on the level of your staff and a random parameter.

5. Competition and training do not have any influence on the improvements.

6. Not having staff does not make your equipment worse, however, it will not improve.

7. You will have improvements in one skill, not all at once.

8. Every 2 levels you will see one star more.

9. You can sell your equipment to another manager any time during the season. You will receive 90% of the selling price, since you have to pay 10% tax.

10. You can remove your equipment from the market without any penalty.

11. Renting the equipment for one specific stage is forbidden, i.e. selling the equipment to one team and buy it again some days later.

12. Having the equipment on  the market does not influence on the improvements.

13 Your cyclists will get some bonuses in all the stages depending on the level of your equipment.

14. Those bonuses are unknown.

1. The transfer market is open from Monday to Saturday. It closes on Sundays.

2. If you don’t have enough money in the moment of making a bid, you will not be able to do it.

3. If you don’t have enough money, the cyclist will not come to your team.

4.If you don’t have space on your team, the cyclist will not join your squad.

5. If you have 19 cyclists on your team, and you have two winning bids, the highest bid will join your team. If you bid the same amount of money, the first bid you made will join your team.

6. New teams can select for free two free cyclists form inactive and banned teams. This opportunity doesn’t expires, so you can wait untill you find two good cyclists.

7. You can select different type of free cyclists, from young talents to experienced cyclists. We suggest to ask for advice (helping teams).

8. Talking about the international scout, if you don’t select a country or a specialty, the international scout won’t work, and you won’t get any young cyclists.

9. The international scout process is done before the transfers, so take care if you have 19 cyclists and your international scout ON.

10. You can check last tranfers in --> Overview of recent transfers

11. A cyclist will loose his training camp bonus if he is transfered.

12. During the first day, you can erase a cyclist from the transfer market (Only if he does not have bids).

13. The cyclists will keep their stages raced.

14. A bid can be modified but not deleted.

15. Only new teams can sign free riders, two per team.
