I don't expect he will do that, but of course it does not hurt to ask / convince him to do that.
Than he would be even a better candidate as I already thought. And more fun for everyone to follow the Australian NT. :)
This more fun could mean more foreign scouts come to Australia, maybe as result more quality Down Under.
Of course it is up to him to decide whether he will be active on the forum or not.
It is not a requirement of an Australian NT manager. He could be busy with other things. But if he wants a lot of votes, it is an easy choice. ;)

Without forum activity he is also a good candidate.
He replies pm's, he is active in the game, and I assume his selections and tactics will be very good.
And perhaps there will be more candidates.

I'm agree with this, of course. But at least for me, now that the game is starting, is good to know the rankings, and have a bit of knowledge of how good your kids are growing... hehe

Ok, I already had a conversation with him...and we agreed that I will help him with the communication, he will give me some details about the weekly race and from time to time we will post the rankings.

So, if he is selected as NT, I will be his Press Officer  ;D

With such a Press Officer, then $Tourmalet will get my vote for sure.  :)

Kent McClure is awaiting a call from mr. manager Fox. He knows he might not be the bestflat cobbler, but he's quite sure he has one of the highest 'cobble'-skills, which of course is most relevant in the laste section (for a free role) or in helping other in the last section. Anyway, he's afraid his team mates Konrad, Amund and Rolv would bully him if he's not selected :P.

In this specific race there is almost no difference between Mitchum and Battle at the moment.

Both are already selected. The others will be selected later this week because they are really close to eachother right now.

Kent McClure could be one of the others, he has to train good and has to wait this week for a possible NT inventation.
His excellent cobbleskill including his good flat-teamwork combo makes him very suited as helper.
But as you can see in the lists, he has some Australian rivals for a NT selection. Although I never look at just the GV when I select helpers.

edit ; you have too many good Norwegian cobblestone specialists, Zatarra. My advice is to fire them.  :P  ;)

Haha, I'm still a bit disappointed that all of them still have no cobble-icon. They are a lot worse than a lot of other cobbel riders, given the high amount of cyclist that have an  icon (although most of them have cobblehill-icons). The graph learns me (reading the script of the past) that Sele is the best flat cobbler with a GV of 73,70 (whereas 75,00 would mean a bronze-icon). So, a long way to go still.

The selection for the final NT race will be made tomorrow morning.

Because I want to make a proper selection and it is all real close together.
Two training sessions can make a difference who I select, although most likely it does not matter much because Australia is not good on the cobblestones compared to the foreign rivals.
But the 10 remaining candidates for the last 6 spots deserve my effort of a proper selection, because they all ride a lot in their active team.

RACE 7 : Finale on Spanish cobblestones

27ÂșC

Ciudad Real, 200km south of Madrid, Spain,
Today the important final race. Too bad it is on cobblestones because I don't think Australia is good at that, compared to the foreign rivals.
But with the current 1st position in the ranking by countries, it is already certain that the season goal of top10 will be achieved.
A worldchampionship is not possible, but the young Aussies will do everything that is possible to get a podiumplace in the season ranking.
I suspect it will be very difficult, and it would be an amazing result for such a small CFF nation as Australia with just 3 cyclists in the dream team. And 2 out of those 3 are a climb-time-trialist and a hill-sprinter, and there were no suited NT races for them this season.

About the selection ; as I already mentioned earlier, it is really close in Australian cobblestone cyclists.
For example these cyclists deserved a NT selection too ; Wade, Sandfort, Dardar (all Antequera) and Glass, Dowden (both Marineros).
And these 2 teams have more Australians who could be good helpers in this race.
But I can only select 9 cyclists.
The 19yo supertoptalent Friend is also selected, he is almost as good as most others in this selection. In fact, he is not far from the GV of the best 20yo Australian. So there is future hope in Australia on the cobblestones.
For now, I don't expect many points in this final NT race, maybe Australia should be happy if it scores points. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Battle will be the teamcaptain because he has a better finish as Mitchum who has a tiny little bit better GV for this race.

Australia NT selection ( in blue the xp ) :

Denis Mitchum (20) Manicomicos_Cycling_Team    23
John Battle (20) Antequera    8
Henry Foster (20) Antequera    11
Dylan Gilliam (20) Antequera    12
Eric Kelly (20) Antequera    12
Jake Hamilton (20) Marineros    14
Jonny Glass (20) Marineros    9
Kent McClure (20) Zatarra    10
Angus Friend (19) Marineros    10

I decided to post the lists for the last time not this weekend, but about 1 day before the season finishes.
A better moment to compare and I have no time today.
Also a separate list of the 19yo Australians will be posted, so train the Aussies well everyone.  :)

Congratulations for your great job. I've been reading Australian NT thread since the beginning, and I am sure you are the best manager of the season. No matter if Australia is finally in the top3 or not, your performance as NT director is superb: great results, amazing comunication and a lot of effortt and dedication. I hope you finally achieve a podium place, because you actually deserve it. My best wishes for this race.
