RACE 6. GRENOBLE - VALMOREI

Better level for this race, but again not very confident. This time I decided to select Garza and 5 helpers and also 3 young climbers that are part of our future.

The Selected 9
Anthony Garza SaulSalinasTeam
Gus Parker skippy
Kent Carey Manicomicos_Cycling_Team
Scott Springsteen Manicomicos_Cycling_Team
Walt Logsdon RajenKujen
Dan Gilbee skies
Jasper Ablett Manicomicos_Cycling_Team
Trevor Winger Manicomicos_Cycling_Team
Kevin Bush CC_Porco_Jones

13    Anthony Garza      26   0: 32"   90      SaulSalinasTeam

I dont like at all the result, Garza was far away from the top ones in S2, anyway, if I would used more efforts in S2, in S5 would not be enough to stay in points...meh

Bad season, but maybe this is our level...I didnt perform a great season (independently of last race), but neither a shitty one...

Too soon to make a conclusion about this season, Franky. ;)
As you mentioned yourself also in parentheses :
(independently of last race)
Because that last NT race does matter a lot in a conclusion about this season.
Many countries who battle for a podiumplace, it is close, and nr5 Australia is one of them with just 35 points behind the current number 3.
And the final cobblestones NT race of this season is exactly the same as previous season. Angus Friend did great in that race.
If he can score many points again, a podiumplace is possible.
Altough Ukraine (current nr3) scored many points too in this race of previous season.
And GB (current nr2) has 285 points more at the moment, but GB scored zero points in race 7 of season 7.

My conclusion ; it will be very exciting in the final NT race of this season.
There is a very big chance Australia will finish top4 in the ranking by countries, what is not bad at all.
But there is also a realistic (little?)chance that Australia can finish on the podium, what would be amazing and maybe a reason to declare Franky as one of the best Australian NT managers ever. :)
Of course, no pressure mate and good luck in the final NT race, that can make the difference between a decent season in a positive way and an amazing season in a very positive way.

But this is just my point of view, I could be wrong.
The current nr7 is just 155 points behind Australia, and Franky has a "number 7 reputation" with his own team, so we will see what happens. ;)
However ; Manicomicos_Cycling_Team is 4th :o  :)) at the moment, hopefully Franky can do the same with Australia.  8)

We only have "one of the best" class of managers in CFF Australia.

Btw: I'm always wondering whether my almost climbers could do better with different tactics, regardless of the tactics I use.  Btw, I think podium for the season is a reasonable target going into the final race, you can set tactics expecting Friend to win, providing he has teammates with him.

One candidate so far ; BikeThink. He started this game 3 days ago.
In the past it was not possible that a just starting manager could be a NT candidate. Maybe a bug ?

Fine by me if Franky or another experienced manager will be a candidate.
Also fine by me if a less experienced manager likes to do the NT job when he is commited for the whole season. We can help him.
But a candidate who started this game 3 days ago, that is exxagerated.
Probably for him no fun situation, and probably for Australia no fun situation.

I did not think yet about being a candidate or not.
But if this situation with this one candidate remains, I will be the 2nd candidate for sure, that is a no brainer to me.

Anyway, whatever happens, for example when Franky is a candidate again ; don't forget to vote everyone ( the 1st time it is important ).

I just step forward as candidate, but if any of you wants, I would step back.

Ok, very good Franky.  :)
At least now there is one good candidate versus the candidate who started 3 days ago.

Eric Kelly Antequera
Jonny Glass BasqueCyclingTeam
John Battle Antequera
Ron Dardar Antequera

Excellent victory in the final NT race, Franky, very well done !  8)
In hinside this victory was needed for a podiumplace in the season ranking, it was (as expected) really close with Estonia.
Australia 3rd in this season schedule. For sure something to be proud of ; well done as NT manager of Australia this season !

It seems to me you will be the NT manager again next season. Already good luck, Franky !  :)
Hopefully this time a mountain TT, because Benett (SPORTLIFE) was never an international despite his 8 victories in 1A, including 3 CFF records.

Yeah, finally, it was a season to be proud of...despite of what I said 7 days ago...hehe.

Yep, for next season, a climb TT and a hillsclimb would be great  ;D
