Richmond TT WC ;
Richard Levin   27   Aurora_Australis  --> Congratulations, AA !  8)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
12º   Mihkel Kangert
1º   Richard Levin   27   Aurora_Australis   a 0 minutos 0sg
2º   Isaac Trump   27   Aurora_Australis   a 0 minutos 3sg

My third cyclist (Clickett) wasn't there, so no 1-2-3.  Peachy apparently threw "New technicians, new material, plus 2 card in chrono material, + bad luck card, + form card +3 to go 100-100" at winning the TT, so I'm pleased with the result (I relented & did +1 chrono material), particularly as his Masseur's & Doctor's Training Camp quality would be better than 3 & 7.

Congratulations Vos, it seems like you are king of the mountains now. What a season with Miorlin and now Crouzel. Well done. My own Pyck finished a good 12th. Happy with the points.

So close, but well done to Vos for getting the key helper bonus in last section! Unfortunately that was just enough to keep Crouzel in front of Martiniussen in the end!
Congrats!

Congrats!

Basov found some extra life in s4, tremendous comeback from 3rd group from the helper to give Crouzel the edge in the final
section.

A truly deserved and heroic win for Sportlife. Well done!  :)

Thanks x3  :)

World Championship Colombia ;
Crouzel   8)
   Carl Martinussen   27   Flyvende_hjul   0: 00"
   Bernhard Niklitschek   27   Rekutxuteam   0: 09"
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
16º Basov
29º Miorlin

Perfect race for my climbers who all could not challenge any favorites, so I had to try something.
And it went exactly how I planned, including the Miorlin-Basov trick in s3, Miorlin hard, Basov deliberately slow.
It was the only way to get Basov with his teamcaptain in s4 , with this very high pace of the race thanks to Miorlin.
And for sure Crouzel needed that extra bonus in s5.
I have to admit, it was a bit of a "no guts, no glory" tactic, but it paid off this time. Really happy with the world champion jersey. :)

Atalm ; also a very good race of Martinussen, well done. And indeed ; Basov made the difference in s4 for the result in s5.

I just see it now, very unxpected moved up to almost the podium in 1A, just 92 points behind.
My team was once before 4th, in season 7 (thé TT season), but back then the difference with nr3 Aurora Australis was 452 points.
Just 92 points behind now, that is really close.
Well, with my WC tactics everyone was needed as helper, a free role was out of the question.

This season two team records ; most points and most victories(10). Only Peachy had more victories(16). ( but I had the best race victory  :) )

Thanks, Cabrasverdes, my team finished even above the recent two-time 1A champion.  ;)
However, in this season my goal was not the 1A ranking, simply because I did not expect at all to get so close to the top3.
If I only knew, for sure 93 points more this season was possible.
But after winning the world champion jersey with Crouzel, the 1A ranking is just a side show. :D

Congrats Both World AussieChampions!!

Specially to Bos: U won with  165th climber in ranking, what maybe is the 20th in pure???
Could you paste him? I wanna compare him with  the top riders in Dream team.

You make the climbing stages very interesting  :-*

Congrats to all winners! Great season Peachy, your team is truly the dream team (Cant believe someone like Haan has been allowed to be a part of it for so long...  ;D)

Haan the "fruitless"? he is gonna ride one last Tour as leader, then he will fall from the three. Too much opportunities :P

Thanks !  :)
I'm too ashamed of the low stats of my climbers. There is a reason they all could not challenge any favorites.
Almost 6 months ago Crouzel was bought for just 2.377.000, - what maybe is an indicetion.
And the nr201 on the golden climbers list, Miorlin, never reached the 10 stars. But he is the 4th most successful cyclist with 19 victories in 1A.
I'm just making the climb races interesting with desperate tactics to compensate their low skills, sometimes that works. ;)

Haan
Maybe for you fun to know what his name means in Dutch ; haan = rooster.
We have an expression in Dutch " haantje de voorste" = "rooster the very first"
With such a name, your cyclist Haan should be in the front all the time. :))
( the Dutch expression means that someone always claims attention )

But you have another cyclist in your team with even a better Dutch/Flemish name to scare his rivals.
VanKerckhove = From the Graveyard. 8)

Good to know!, VanKherckhove has become one of my favourites riders, and likely my best bought in prize-performance.
I put him leader in World Championm, trying to be 16th at least and get the Belgian maillot, as Pierre won it always. Luckily he made it just for one position  ;D

I´ll look for a nice image in his profile
