Congratz with the 5th in a row world championship.
Thanks  :)
You too congrats with a points-rich last race ( 725 ),
ánd with the silver 2nd place in the season ranking with an excellent total points of 2.055, what is very high for a number 2.
There is no country that will gain 800 points or more in just two races.
As I expected, you did with the Netherlands. ;)
250 points in race 6 + 725 points in race 7 = 975 points. 8)

NT race 7 ;
5º  Keith Hunter ( 32, RealMurciaCycling )
13º Dave Taylor ( 28, Bikeos ) in a perfect helpers role because he was with Hunter in section 4.

Excellent race and excellent results !  :)
Despite NL scored 725 points in this race, these 270 Australian points are more than enough to secure the world championship.  8)

FINAL PODIUM, season 22 =

1    2.320  8)
2.      2.055
3.      1.540

For the 5th time in a row ;

Australia = world champion !

Thanks to all CFF managers with Australian top cyclists !  8)

Thanks  :)
If there are no candidates, I'm ready for next season.
But on purpose I'm not a candidate now, because also fine by me if someone else wants to do this fun job.

For those who are in doubt to be a candidate, consider this ;
no guarantee that it will be 6 in a row next season, it might depend on the NT season schedule.
But it seems to me that in every NT season schedule ;
also next season Australia will battle for the world championship, and at least a podiumplace seems already certain to me.
And competing for the top places in the season ranking, makes the NT job even more fun. :)

(which kind of brings to my mind someone who won... 7 :P)
Not me, because this was my 6th NT world championship, out of the 8 times that I was the Australian NT manager in CFF3.

I mean 7 TDF, in real life ;); and now has been erased from the history books ;)
So you need to go beyond 7

Congratulations once more!

Aha, that is what you mean.
Well, if Australia achieves 7 in a row, I guess that the Australian NT manager of season 24 will have a chat with Oprah Winfrey.  :))

If noone else applies, I will.  And great result Vos, I suspect it's going to get harder from now on.

Thanks  :)
I'm very optimistic about next season.
For example I missed out a lot of points in NT race 1 with the failure of top favorite James Bush, who scored 0 points.

And as I mentioned before, it might depend on the NT season schedule.
But also a better suited schedule is possible.
Australia has no real weakness right now, probably only flat cobble is, with just the teamcaptain who can score points.
Still many flat TT points will be scored, and we have a better climb teamcaptain next season.
And who knows, maybe a climb TT as extra next season, the top 3 climb TT of CFF is all Australian.

You are a tactical good NT manager, AA, so, I would not be surprised if you achieve the 6 in a row, what would be amazing. 8)
Hopefully a nice season schedule, and I wish you a lot of fun and good luck, AA ! :)
