I'm now more than 100 points ahead in the General of WCS, so there's a chance I could win it.  I will lose 50 points with the finishing time prediction, however I may pick up some on the GC results.  Still six stages left though.

Vlominck is currently 33rd overall
Mitte is 41st overall

Mitte is 38th in Mountains (I'm 9th)

Vlominck is 48th in Points, 1 spot behind me.

GaoYao is 10th in Youth

I've been running with a nice wet sail since Pogačar had to abandon.  Fingers crossed on keeping the sail wet.

At the moment, it looks as if Pogačars crash has encouraged my other picks to go to the front.

I think the stage victories is a record, I think I had the previous record (6 or 7?).  WiC will possibly get one more to put it beyond doubt.  AJFactoryCycling will take out the overall.

I recall a few years ago, an Aussie male cyclist went onto the footpath along a straight road for 100 metres to avoid spectators who had streamed onto the road, lost over 100 places in the peleton, and they gleefully kicked him off the tour for taking an advantage.  It may have been the same stage where Sagon shortcutted an entire square debause he was at the back of the peleton & needed to be at the front for the finish, and they didn't punish him.  Nobody said a word against either decision.
