A season with 2 TT is always a good season, even if the old hall of famers from Aurora are not with us, new kids are coming, and probably, this season they will raise again!

Comments about rankings:- TT: Bad Mount seems to be our best guy, with Kirk close, but then, from 3rd to 8th, differences are quite small, just changing a few % here or there...the list changes. The new Auroras are there, but they still have a long trip to the top of the list
- Hills TT: This a list with default values, for the race of this season, it will be different, so this list has not a lot of value for the current calendar. The % for the coming race will have less hills and more flat for sure.
- Climbing TT: Nothing to say here, Oscar is the king here and now is on the market!
- Climbing Hills and Hills Climbing: 2 list for the 2 tipes of races that we have usually in the Teams Calendar, not very useful for NT as it is strange to have this kind of race here. Martin is the king here.
- Climbing flat and pure: The mix of this 2 list will be the list for the race of this season as the % for that race will have less flat than the default Climb-flat values. Colin, Jason and Ryan will fight for the leadership.
- Sprint: There is only 1 leader here, and is The Bullet, now, the #2 in the DT. A flat sprint is not his best terrain, but he will try to be in the top10.
- Hills: Same situation as in the Mountain race. The race of this season has a bit of flat, so a combination of both lists (pure and flat) will give us the final list for the NT race. Anyway, there is not way other guy that is not a bronxie will be the leader, Fergus has to gain experience to be the leader. He is our future.
- Cobblestone: A bit surprising to see Friend still there, his HUGE experience is decisive, but Keith is close...and the season is long...
- Cob-Hills: Marc Huling is our man. He will be very good helped by the TeaMetal kids.

Unfortunately my 24-year-old TTers have to compete against 30/31-year-old TTers, and TTers grow with age (see the difference in Levin's & Trump's stats in the season 6 thread compared to season 13).
Levin 95.92 > 98.64
Trump 95.13 > 98.44
The good news is that:
Nobby Licuria is 95.89
Tod Henderson is 95.50
And we're also no longer a one-race nation.

Good to hear from you, Franky, and that you are allright. :)
The horrible feeling you can wash away by trying to get a good sprint result with the Australian Bullet. ;)
For example his very first top10 result in a NT race would be great.
But of course there is a big chance it will not go the way you planned ; I know that can happen to the best in sprint races, hahaha.
The 1 stripe of wind can make it even more difficult / unpredictable. Anyway, already good luck !
And don't forget to make a NT sprint selection, because Down Under we have a very harsh penalty for NT managers who forgot it twice ;
you will be tied to a swinging stick, and then we will send you to the eurovision songcontest where you have to sing a song.

Andrew Carter and Will Bixter are the last 2 selected, in order to give him a bit of exp, as since Wilt there is no level enough to help properly.

He's now gone to work in a factory after less than 1 week (another is likely to join him, plus two more with talent unknown). What it means is that I'm still hunting for suitable Aussie 19-year-old TTers. TT skill needs to be mid 60s+, plus with good stamina-flat-technique. Several days remaining, so for some late draft-scout income, go hunting for an Aussie TT prospect or two.

Fortunately money is a little like lolly paper in this game. Talent 1-0 is a fail regardless of initial stats, especially for TT.
Hills-TT can't live on hills alone. Although hills made Lenny Taylor buyable from you for 4.5m. Also David Parker & Alex Trautemberg made it to buyable because of hills (and at least one other this season, but he's already been sacked - 2 out of 3 of my purchases will be sacked - I've probably sacked around 35-40m this promotion cycle).

Finally, I have the 9. I've change the % few times, made an average...and took a decision. Lets see how many points achieve this time...

With a little more luck even more points were possible because the other 3 finished 1, 2, and 3 seconds outside the points (21º, 24º, 25º).
Anyway, amazing TT results ! Australia made a mega jump in the season ranking and now the new number 1. :)

Well, indeed, no race tactics were needed,
but for an Australian NT manager it is still a difficult tactical/strategic puzzle in who to select with the many good Australian TT specialists.
So ; well done Franky, and making the selection for NT race 6 might be even a bigger tactical challenge.
But first things first, and that is cobblehills NT race 5.
Maybe Australia is in the situation that we are a fierce competitor for the world championship, even with 0 points in the next race.
And maybe that will depend on the tactical selection skills of Franky, what is for 75% genius so far this season. :P ;) :)) :-*

The % are basically the same, my problem was the filters...I filtered by 50 hills, and then, some of your guys are not in that filter...

Excellent results in this semi-hill-TT ; 2º + 3º + 7º + 10º = 745 points ! 8)
Just in the 2 times trials of this NT season, Australia scored a total of ( 840 + 745 = ) 1.585 points, and possibly the foundation of ;
an Australian world championship ! :)

And Rubiera has just a 23yo helper with extreme low health who is not allowed to rest of his manager, even not for the WC race.

Zwinkels indeed had TC and pretty good staff/circumstances. Yet, he finished 30th for just 50 points. I don't think my 6* hillers will score 34 more points than your Rubiera, Vos.
In hindsight I shouldn't have sold Caldeira just yet. Becoming the Aussie champion is a goal, but I just didn't expect it to be manageable this season. Kasper van der Goor did surprisingly well.

Clearly a 30th place of Zwinkels is by far not good enough.
And indeed, your van der Goor did very well, including his individual Dutch championship. That is also a very nice, prestigious price.
There are still no candidates to do the honorable and fun NT job of next season with a good Australian generation.
No problem to me to do the job next season,
but I like it much more when for example someone makes his debut as Australian NT manager.
