Also Bernal did great and won 32 seconds in the GC, he is now 2nd in the GC.
Alaphilippe could not follow the other GC contenders in the last km of the Galibier, but with his amazing descent that was no problem.

nr1 GC pizzaboys is just 76 points ahead of Patrick Kok and 291 points ahead of Kalarratas and WinterIsComing.
MarnixStar is still leading the sprint classification of all 5.864 WCS participants. 
TeamElrosportu has a good chance to win this jersey, 2nd is PieterJanVB.
Kalarratas is leading the youth classification, and a good lead towards Patrick Kok and GaoYao.

Egan Bernal (Team Ineos) was the big winner during a shortened stage 19 of the Tour de France. Although the jury ruled there would be no official stage winner, Bernal took the yellow jersey after the race was cancelled on the descent of the Col d’Iseran. Hail and ice in Tignes, as well as a landslide blocking the road between Val d'Isère and Tignes, made the final kilometres of the stage impossible to pass by bike.

In contrast to the real TdF, in the CFF League of WCS there was a stage winner = TeamElrosportu  
MarnixStar is still leading the sprint classification of all 5.864 WCS participants.
pizzaboys is still the GC leader in the CFF League, but Patrick Kok came closer and is just 24 (!) points behind.
2 more stages to go.

Stage 20 is changed due to landslides, they skipped the first 2 mountains and the stage is now just 59km (including the 33km final climb).

The just 22yo Belgian toptalent Bjorg Lambrecht died after a crash in the 3rd stage of the Tour de Pologne. 
This season he had some excellent results such as 4th Flèche Wallonne, 6th Amstel Gold Race and youth jersey winner Dauphiné.

Tour de Pologne organisers neutralised stage 4 following the death the previous day of 22-year-old Bjorg Lambrecht (Lotto Soudal), who crashed during stage 3 and died later that afternoon in hospital. RIP

Ackermann wins stage 3. No winner in stage 4, that was a Bjorg Lambrechts memorial race. Mezgec wins stage 5.
The 22yo Vingegaard wins stage 6 and takes the lead in the GC. Today the final stage.

The first victory of new CFF participant Sabmazz, also it is the first French victory in the history of the CFF League.

Unfortunately the main story in this tour was the death of Bjorg Lambrecht.
In the coloured picture he won the silver medal in the u23 world championship of 2018.

Mohorič won the final stage in a solo of 60 km. Sivakov won the final GC, 2nd GC is Hindley and 3rd GC is Ulissi.

The Tour de l'Avenir ( = Tour of the Future ) has a lot of impressive victors.
But in 2007 is was the first time that this was a tour for 23yo and younger. Before it was 25yo and younger, and more back into history it was even possible that all riders could ride this tour. For example Laurent Fignon won this tour in 1988 when he was already 28yo.
