Although, seeing the results, many teams including Australia saw their leaders behind - and have their free roles fight for victory, very well done this entire season, including the last and most feared final race. A well deserved overall victory! :-)

About the race :
According to me a weird and very surprising race, this to me well known cobblestone race in Spain.
Almost every Aussie did something else as I expected. Some were dissapointing and some were surprisingly good.
I chose for 5 free role riders (had to try something^^), and also very unexpected to me one of them did great in this final race :
Henry Foster ( Antequera ) finished as 5th. 
These 180 points were more than enough to stay ahead and be the world champion !
Without this unexpected result of Foster, Australia would have finished as 4th in the season ranking. So, extreme important points.

Ciclokiller : Thank you very much, I appriciate your reaction a lot. ( although I think I was just lucky this season as NT manager )

Of  course also thanks to the others who reacted here, also appriciated.

500 of those points came from my team, which is good because I wasn't expecting much until next season or the season after.  And my top cyclists have 4 or 5 talents, so it should get better in seasons to come.

Thanks for let me be the Australia national team manager.
I know I can´t do better than Vos, but I will try to do the best I can.
I will not write here very often, but I will have Franky helping me in that way.
The first stage we have a Hill one, and I don´t know the level the rest national teams will have, but I think we have good riders.

In a few days I will speak with Franky and we will made some rankings. Perhaps there will be little changes with the previous ones, but I suppose they will be very similar. The evaluator that I´m working with, is one that Franky send to me.

Hi, Australian NT manager Miguel. 

About this season :
Forget previous season. Australia is 12th in the ranking number of cyclists per country.
So, a nice season goal can be top10.
Hopefully that is realistic, because it seems to me that this season calendar is not positive for Australia.

NT race 1 (hills) and NT race 4 (flat TT) should be good races for the young Aussies.
It can be possible that you break the record of best Australian in a NT race. In previous season that was a 4th place in the time trial.
So a  podium place in a NT race can be a nice season goal too.
Because in race 1 also a chance with Jones (nr8 dream team) if the tactics turn out very good in hinsight.

In the other 5 NT races Australia is not good, in my opinion.
Don't expect many points in these races, Miguel.
For sure a possibillity that I can be wrong now, so hopefully a young Aussie can surprise me in of these 5 NT races.
