Regular performance for Adam tonight. He could arrived with new yellow jersey Green, but he lose contact in 1st section and maybe... the final podium. Around 1' of no gain...  :(

stage 4 TdF ;
15º Colaco ( helper )
21º Jannakopulosz ( teamcaptain )  ???

To me this was a weird sprint stage.
s1 --> Good start, teamcaptain and helper were in the big front peleton of 132.
s2 --> A break away group of just 12, my sprinters were not among them.
s3 --> Helper Colaco saw the danger because there were favorites in the break away group.
So he closed the gap together with 10 other cyclists, but I guess Jannakopulosz did not drink enough in this extreme heat, he could not follow.
Now the situation ; a helper in the 1st group of 23, and the teamcaptain isolated in the 2nd big group of 99 on already 0:43" :o
s4 --> Same situation in the front group, still 23 cyclists.
But behind them the pace was accelerated a lot, and a chasing group of 37 came closer, including my teamcaptain, now on 0:24"
s5 --> Verhoeven ( Denver ) won.
Helper Colaco unexpectedly scored many points, and Jannakopulosz was 2nd of the chasing group of now 30 cyclists.

A very bad result of my teamcaptain, although his GV for this race was not so good because he did not even got a dissapointment icon.
In hinside, my both sprinters scored together just as much points as the 8th place.
And a 8th place should be a normal good result for my teamcaptain, and normal that my helper should score zero points.
So, despite a remarkable race with a very bad result, it did not matter for the points.
Two more sprint chances this Tour de France, hopefully those will go better.

stage 5 TdF ;
Adorján
A very good result of my silver teamcaptain, despite Miorlin just helped in s1 and s2, so the helpers tactic should have been better.

Let's sprint again. This time on the famous Champs-Élysées.

A much better sprint this time. Verburg has a good race and goes up the ranks. In the top 20 now. Tonight we will lose some time and hopefully we can stay at the same position during the hill stage. Then i hope to move up close to the top 10 during the final 2 sprints.

stage 6 TdF ;
Jannakopulosz
26º Colaco
Very good race and very good result.

The next stage is climbing and descending to Albertville.
This TdF stage is the closest to Italy, so Miorlin will be the teamcaptain because I expect a lot of Azzurri fans at the finish.

stage 7 TdF ;
victory of Miorlin8)
24º Heger ( free role )

Very impressive performance of Miorlin, with 99 form and without TC bonus.
Already his 9th big tour stage victory, only Travin (IKIBASQUE / Thorboassonarvesen) and Bentinck (Yvo_Meppelink_ProCycling) won more big tour stages.

I expect that the GC will change due to the hills. Till now that almost did not count, but it will count in the final 3 stages.
Of course, the most in the upcoming stage 8 with 5 hills sections. For now the GC looks like this :

TOP 20 GC Tour de France, after 7 stages ;

1    Allan Palmer   26   Codex   0: 00"
2     Wendell Green   27   Marcatone_Due   0: 10"
3     Dario Fernandez   27   skunk   0: 17"
4     Tom Cabanas   27   MortoviaCycling   0: 51"
5     Hartwig Adenauer   27   cave   0: 53"

stage 8 TdF ;
16º Heger
stage 9 TdF ;
14º Heger

Good results of Heger, who had to do it on his own in both stages.
He moved up many GC places, but still more than 4 minutes behind the nr20 GC, so he has no chance to score a few extra GC points.

In between these TdF stages, there was a more important race for my team ;
Romney ( SPORTLIFE ) won the semi final of the CFF Cup. 8)

Go verburg! No real differences in the GC this morning. This afternoon there are some possibilities.

Nice overview. Unfortunately Verburg couldnt move up. I was better off going for the stages in this Tour. Ah well, now some better races for my team are coming. Tomorrow its Tweeds turn to go for a top 10.

   selection SPORTLIFE

High (or low, depending on how you look at it) startnumbers in this little tour.
The reason ; my team moved up to the 8th place in 1A. Thanks to the 16th place of VanDerKroon in San Sebastian.

Takács gets the number with an 1 in it, due to his GC ambition. Although, in advance it is doubtfull if he can ride a good GC.
I decided that the director may stay, he is perfect for the Vuelta, but with just 4 points on little tours he is not very usefull in this BBT.
And to make it even more difficult for Takács, he has to ride stage 4 in a free role. Because there Jannakopulosz will be the teamcaptain.

71 Takács (26), cobblehills
72 Jannakopulosz (27), hill-sprint
73 Romney (27), cobblehills
74 Gregersen (25), hills
75 Colaco (26), hill-sprint

Good luck everyone !  :)
