It's with great sadness that we have to announce the retirement of our Masseur, twenty-one days before the industry enforced retirement age of 65.  Ethan Good, who'd been with us since the start of CFF3, had been a key part of ensuring the best staff for our cyclists, and it was only the prospect of starting season 11 without a masseur of any quality that sees him taking retirement three weeks early.

stage 8 TdF ;
Despite a hard start, very unexpectedly Basov could not follow the break away group of 14 in section 1.
And his helper Crouzel could follow that front group, so Basov was isolated in the 2nd group.
In s3 Basov even dropped to the 4th group on already 0:54" while Crouzel was still in the break away group of now just 9.
In s4 Basov overtook Crouzel, so the SPORTLIFE teamcaptain was the whole race isolated.
With a good start Basov would have done great, although he could not challenge any favorites.
What maybe is a reason that I should be satisfied with the result of this bad and/or unlucky race.
7º Basov

At least you can go on TCS again :p.

This morning we had our 3rd sixth place of the Tour. I had hoped for more but there really wasnt any thing else i couldnt have done with the riders here. So i am satisfied. Maaaaaaybe Vaca can ride some points in the GC but im not counting on it.

Nice win for Vigo in his Tour de France debut. He was helping out Bolshenkov in the first sprint stage, but he was given the team lead this time, in an effort to save the Tour for our team. Bolshenkov did great in a few mountain stages (2nd place in stage 6 and 3rd place in stage 4), but he was no match for the tour riders with a better profile for this season's TdF.

stage 9 TdF ;
5º Jannakopulosz
23º Colaco
Good results of my sprinters. What ends this Tour de France for my team because nothing is at stake in the final stage 10 to Antwerpen.
Both sprinters are happy that they will be already in Belgium this evening ; they ride BBT too, that starts 111km to the east, in Riemst.

Clasica San Sebastian ;
9º VanDerKroon -->
Helper Løvdal did a perfect helper's job in the first 3 sections of this windy classic race.

   selection SPORTLIFE

Three Hungarians in this BBT selection, and the recent TdF stage 5 winner gets the number with an 1 in it.
Also because the main focus of my team is on both sprint stages. Perea will make his debut for my team as teamcaptain in stage 2.

Takács will try to ride a GC, just as in previous season where he finished 9th GC.
This BBT is much more difficult for him, because now there are two sprint stages instead of one.
In both sprint stages he gets a free role and loses a lot of time. Hopefully he can finish top20 GC, but in advance that is very doubtfull.

91 Jannakopulosz ( 28 ), stage 4
92 Perea ( 28 ), stage 2
93 Takács ( 27 ), stages 1 + 3, and maybe GC
94 Colaco ( 27 ), sprint helper
95 Milinte ( 28 ), allround helper

Good luck everyone !  :)

Wise decission. Bookmakers point Sportlife as the main favorite. Hungarians are in great shape this year !
Good luck !

Hahaha, thanks Hungarian NT manager Quinto y Tapa  :)  You too good luck with your team.
I have even a 4th Hungarian in my team.
But Zoltán Dékány cannot ride BBT, because he is on training camp for his main race of the season ; the WC TT in Innsbruck, close to Hungary.
I'm happy with the four Hungarians in my team, :)
but of course it is a bit embarrassing I have zero Australians at the moment :-[, somehow they all want to ride for Franky's team.:))

Remarkable ; Benett is still higher ranked than Smith at the moment.
But I assume that Smith is already better in the most common race of their speciality, due to his amazing stamina.
However, the ranking shows that the mainskill is very important, Smith needs to train that in his final 14 fast trainings.
He has 2 points less compared to Benett, and 3 points under the 100 main skill. 14 times fast 100% training gives almost 1½ point more.

Let's hope there will be a NT race in their speciality next season, it would be the first time ever and good for Australia. :)

stage 1 BBT ;
9º Takács on 0:23"
Very good start of this little tour.

stage 2 BBT ;
3º Perea
10º Jannakopulosz ( free role )
Excellent results of my sprinters.
Less positive was that GC rider Takács ( free role ) could not follow the front group already in s4, one section too soon and too much time loss.
94º Takács on 0:53"
He is now 9th in the GC, and exactly also 53 seconds behind both GC leaders Pierre and Nelisse.
But it is uncertain if he could have finshed one group earlier with more EP in s4.

stage 3 BBT ;
26º Takács on 0:41"
Not a good race and to make it worse ; a mechanical breakdown in s5. He dropped a few GC places and at the moment 12th.

stage 4 BBT ;
15º   Jannakopulosz
27º   Milinte
( 91º  Takács on 1:42" )

Another bad race for my team.
GC rider Takács started in a free role with 3 EP, what was not good enough to be in the front peleton of 57.
Despite 1 EP in s2, also he could not follow the 2nd group and was in s3 already in the 3rd group on more than a minute.
Takács is now 19th GC, so he has to ride a good final stage to score a few GC points.

The start was also bad for teamcaptain Jannakopulosz, the 1 EP in s1 was not good enough for the CFF recordholder of this stage.
Note ; he could not challenge any favorites and he is now the ex-recordholder.
But he had still the 2 other sprinters as helpers in the 2nd group of s1 and s2.
Only best helper Milinte started good and was in the front group during 4 sections.
Too bad he was useless to Jannakopulosz, because the teamcaptain could not even return in s4 despite using energy.
And even worse, Jannakopulosz was isolated in the 2nd group of s4, because unexpectedly Colaco was in the 3rd group with 4 EP in s4.
Apparently the strong 5 EP of the SPORTLIFE-teamcaptain was also not good enough to return, and he finishd as 2nd of the 2nd group.
Despite this bad result, he did not even get a dissapointment symbol, and this stage was for sure dissapointing.
