About the Philippe Gilbert Trophy, I think that is a massive achievement. Just 4 teams (incl. TeamRHB) won that milestone.
It is for sure one of my main goals in CFF to achieve this also ( or at least win one of these 3 classic races ).
But impossible right now without a good hill specialist in my team. Maybe I start a mini-youth-hills-team aside next season.
Then again, I have a few other main goals too, for example win one of the big tours once.

There are too many cool things to do in this game. Thats part of the fun. For me, once Verbeek is old, i will try and see if i can do great things on another discipline. That creates almost an entirely new game.

That was one of the strangest races i have seen. Lucky verbeek is very strong. With an attack in the front group he made the jump with a 0 in s2. Burton did what he needed and was there in the lead group for the first 3 sections. Then Verbeek started his incredible solo till the end. His second La Doyenne win.

Great LBL victory, Sjiz ! 

It was clear 8-star hills specialist Sordo was not good enough to score points in LBL.
But he scored 3k price money and 50 points (=15k) in AGR, so he was profitable because I bought him 2 weeks ago for 1k.

Time for a little tour ; in Romandie SPORTLIFE has a much better teamcaptain, although he has just 1 star more than Sordo.

Sooner as expected golden tour rider Ibarrola makes his debut for my team.
He is not in topform yet, so riding in form is his main goal. Just in case he can surprise, he gets a free role in at least the first 2 stages.
Since yesterday my team has another golden tour rider, Bustelo, bought for just 255k ( ! ). But he came into my team with a very low health.
Despite that, the plan was to let him ride Romandie anyway, but the plan changed due to the new buy of 1½ hour ago.
And that is the Australian climber Ablett, bought for 51k.
Not a perfect health yet and not in topform also, but a much better helper than Bustelo.
And Miorlin needs the help and he is thé teamcaptain in Romandie, although he sucks in the flat TT, so unfortunately a good GC is not realistic.

stage 1 Romandie ;
Again a mechanical breakdown in a very important section. This happens a few times too many for a SPORTLIFE-teamcaptain this season.
4º  Miorlin

Our Tour de Romandie was marked by a very late addition to the squad. Noone really expected him to ride for us as the paperwork for his tranfser was signed mere minutes before the start. This lead him to not being able to rest. Still, Ablett will do his best. The first stage didnt go well, he lost a lot of time. But on the cobbles he moved up some places and is now in sight of the top 20. Tomorrow we will see how it goes.

Again a mechanical breakdown in a crucial section, this time for free role Ibarrola in s5 of stage 2.
What can make a difference, because after TT stage 3, he is much higher ranked in the GC as I expected ; 11th on 2:44"
And Miorlin dropped many places with his 142º on 3:48" result in the time trial. He is now 20th GC on 3:37"
Both had bike problems in Romandie, maybe because the focus of the mechanicien was on Kangert, who rode his best result ever in stage 3 ;

In stage 4 both my GC riders scored a few points ( 22º and 28º ) and finished on 0:00"

Much more points in the GC as expected, and good to see that free role rider Ibarrola with just 97 form scores GC points too.
9th GC = Miorlin, and 12th GC = Ibarrola

Eschborn-Frankfurt ;
My team could not follow the big s1 break away group of 40, and unfortunately my teamcaptain did not get a sleeping icon despite he was behind.
But he did great in this race although he had to do it on his own in s2 and further. He even finished in the front group of 13.
An excellent result and very hopefull for the Giro where this silver tour rider will be the teamcaptain also.
12º   Løvdal

As is noticeable the last few seasons a lot of GC guys have done sprint training. This makes it harder and harder for Verbeek to get some good results here. Still, a 13th place are 130 welcome points. That brings him on 2524 in 10 races. An average of 250 points per race, not bad . It will go down though as he will ride the Giro next and only 2 stages are for him. Still, a great start for him.

   selection SPORTLIFE

In previous season silver tour rider Løvdal finished as 9th GC in the Giro, and the entire top 19 were golden tour riders.
But this season SPORTLIFE has golden tour riders too for the very first time in CFF3, and both will be the helpers of their silver teamcaptain.
Top 10 GC will be the main goal, and a few good stage results are goals too of my team.

In what must be the weakest TT field for a tour with a flat TT race ever, there's only one or two lower gold TTers in the Giro field besides my cyclists.  Richard Levin took one look at who was competing, and declared that he wasn't going to bother wasting his time racing, and was going on holiday for the next week.  His replacement, Mark Friend, has declared that he's not going to bother resting from his training schedule, nor will Owen Acree.  So it's basically just Paul Clickett who'll be unbettable favourite, and daylight to second, & third.

A good start, I figured i wouldnt be able to keep Nilsson with Luna so i didnt even try. He was allowed tonjoin the break and finished a very nice second. Luna also did well finish ING in 24th. A good start.

Excellent results ; a very good podiumplace of free role rider Miorlin who could not challenge a favorite,
and teamcaptain Løvdal surprised me a lot with his stage result, and he won time on most GC rivals by finishing on 0:43"
This might even could have been better, if Miorlin was the helper.
In hinside it might have been possible, for example Løvdal was just 12 seconds behind Miorlin in s4.
But before the race I estimated Miorlin was way too good to help.
