  Hayter wins stage 2 and takes the lead in the GC.

CFF League stage 2 winner = Animatoca  8)  & stage winner of all WCS participants 8)
Animatoca is of course the GC leader in the CFF League, and at the moment 4th GC of all WCS participants. 3 more stages to go.

A lot happened in this Strade Bianche like Giro stage 11 ; two young cyclists were clearly the best of the 6 man break away group ;
the just 21yo Schmid outsprinted the 22yo Covi, what is his first victory in his first professional year.
And there was a fierce GC battle behind them what shook up the GC a lot. Bernal showed that he is the top favorite to win this Giro.
Too much happened in this amazing race to write it all down. Perhaps the next picture is a good recap of stage 11 ;

CFF League stage 11 winner = Vos   :)

Those last three kms will be where my top standing in the prediction end.  Seriously, imagine that for an exercise route (my street and the two streets across for where I live is 6 to 6.5% (only 300-350 metres each - peak is 8% in my street), and that's hard enough.

I watched the stage.  Nice to know that other (non-Ineos) teams are still morons who are tactical gooses who don't want to win a race, and that the sport still glorifies drug cheats as demi-Gods like Pantani.

Cecilie Ludwig ( 25, DEN ) wins stage 3. Today the final mountain stage will be decisive for the GC.

CFF League stage 3 winner = Vos   :)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader with 1 more stage to go.

It seemed that Impey and Stannard would sprint for stage 5 victory, but a few meters before the finishline they crashed into eachother.
Now Hayter stayed ahead win his too long sprint and won stage 5.
In the picture the final GC Vuelta a Andalucía ; 2nd Tolhoek on 0:20", 1st Lopéz, 3rd Amézqueta on 1:20"

CFF League stage 5 winner = Cosminelul   8)

GC winner = ophiuko   8)
Cosminelul wins the sprint- and youth jerseys.
Animatoca wins the mountain jersey.

After being in the early breakaway group, a great solo victory of Fortunato on the mighty Zolocan.
In the GC battle only S.Yates was strong enough to attack on the final brutal climb. Only GC leader Bernal could follow.
On a later moment Bernal counter-attacked ( see picture ) and again showed that he is thé top favorite to win the Giro.
S.Yates now 2nd GC on 1:33", and it seems this mountain stage showed that he is the best of the rest.

CFF League stage 14 winners ( split victory ) = 5o&Tapa   8)  &  Aurora Australis   8)

It was a stage 4- ánd GC-battle between van der Breggen and van Vleuten. Both were the strongest in this mountain stage.
On the final climb just before the finishline, van der Vleuten tried to pass van der Breggen, but without succes.
The ranking of stage 4 is also the final GC ranking ;
1st van der Breggen ( 31, NED ), 2nd van Vleuten ( 38, NED ) on 0:03", 3rd Vollering ( 24, NED, the helper of van der Breggen ) on 0:23"

CFF League stage 4 winner = Vos  :)

GC winner = Vos  :)
Vos wins also the sprint-, mountain- and youth jerseys.

Soto wins solo in his hometown the biggest victory of his career. 2nd Madrazo and 3rd Serrano.

CFF League winner = ophiuko   8)

In a rainy and slippery final, Campenaerts won the sprint-a-deux of Riesebeek.

CFF League stage 15 winner = Foeke  8)

With 6 more stages to go, it seems the top 5 GC of the CFF League will battle for Giro victory. There is a big gap towards the rest.
However,  4 out of the 6 are mountain stages, and the final stage is a time trial ; so maybe still everything is possible, also for the rest.
And it is cycling, so anything can happen. For example today 6th GC Buchmann crashed early in the stage, and too injured to continue.

So, let's see how the CFF participants outside the top10 are ranked at the moment. Many can still get into the final top10 GC (or surprise).

Just clicked on the online feed of the race.  What the heck is another moron team (EF) doing wasting their energy at the front, making it easy for Ineos.  Seriously, are these teams seeking to be losers?  Bernal & Ineos must be laughing at the morons.

The "queen" stage had to be shortened from 212km to 153km by taking out 2 fierce mountains due to bad weather conditions.
Still, it was a hard stage for the GC contenders, and some had a bad day ( for example Yates and Evenepoel ).
GC leader Bernal was clearly the best and won solo this mountain stage 16.

The top 10 GC had some changes ; 1st Bernal 0:00", 2nd Caruso 2:24", 3rd Carthy 3:40",
4th Vlasov 4:18", 5th Yates 4:20", 6th Ciccone 4:31", 7th Bardet 5:02", 8th Martínez 7:17", 9th Foss 8:20", 10th Almeida 10:01"

CFF League stage 16 winner = Vlominck  8)

TOP 10 GC ;
0:00" Patrick Kok
0:48" Mardandoo
0:49" Aurora Australis
- - - - - - - - - -
1:07" B.E-L

4:01" 5o&Tapa
4:29" Cosminelul

5:28" BrotasTeam
6:00" Vos

top 3 sprint classification ;

If would do most abandons I would win I think. What is happening?

With evenepoel leaving I just have 6 riders left. And I did not pick Bernal
