A big crash caused that the majority of sprinters were eliminated from contention.
It happened on a sharp right-hand bend with 800 metres to go, shortly after the road had narrowed from two lanes to one.

Such a final is i.m.o. a big failure of the Polish organisation. Just 8 cyclists could sprint for victory, and
Bauhaus won.

ophiuko is the GC leader with 2 more stages to go.
4 Jumbo-Visma riders were on the front to lead out the sprint at over 60kph but Dekker, who was third in the line,
lost control of his bike on a speed bump and crashed at high speed.
Other riders could not avoid him and crashed across the road, some sent flying into the metal roadside barriers.
Harper somehow managed to avoid his Jumbo-Visma teammate and finished behind stage winner
Roosen and his leadout Affini,
who both sprinted to the finish, apparently unaware what had happened behind them because they were cheering,
with a big empty gap behind the 3 Jumbo-Visma riders.
The crash immediately raised questions about rider safety and race organisers respecting UCI rules on course design
and why the downhill final kilometre included a speed bump.
