  Garciá won the sprint-á-deux versus Kraak. Brown finished 3rd by winning the sprint of a chasing group.

CFF League winner = Vlominck  8)

  again a victory of Uijtdebroeks ( 19, BEL ), who is the new GC leader with a big time gap towards the nrs 2 and 3 GC.

CFF League stage 9 winner = pizzaboys  8)
Vos ( with less than a half team ) is still the GC leader with 1 more stage to go.

  A.Yates takes the GC lead because of his solo victory in the decisive mountain stage 4.

CFF League stage 4 winner = ophiuko  8)
Combuijs & ophiuko, both are the GC leaders with 1 more stage to go.

  again a mountain stage victory of Vine.

After a tough, selective day of racing, a reduced "peleton"( about 20 ) sprinted for victory ; 1st van Aert, 2nd Laurance, 3rd Kamp.

CFF League winner = Mitte  8)

 
A solo victory of Milesi ( 20, ITA ) in the final mountain stage.

  In a windy stage below sea level, Wiebes won very easily the sprint of a reduced peleton.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Kalarratas  8)   &  stage winner of all WCS !  8)
Besides the GC lead of all WCS, Kalarratas wears also the sprint jersey of all WCS.
But with already 3 cyclists abandon, I guess that Kalarratas his lead will be over soon.

  Evenepoel wins the 30,9 km time trial with a very big difference. Only Roglič finished within a minute on 0:48"

Vuelta news ; GC contenders S.Yates ( picked 12x ) and Sivakov ( 2x ) are out of the Vuelta due to covid.
Also Adria ( 5x ), Carretero ( 0x ) and Miquel ( 0x ) did not start today.
Already 27 cyclists are abandon now, including 17 cyclists due to a positive covid test. There are 151 cyclists left in the Vuelta.

GaoYao loses the most picks today ( S.Yates, Sivakov and Adria ), and he is the new leader in the ranking below.

Fun fact: in the Tour of Britain WCS game, 197 out of 220 players picked Tom Pidcock as GC winner, but only 189 of them picked him as youth GC winner  ;D

Indeed, fun to see what others picked, although I only look at the picks of the CFF League when a tour or race just started.
Not always, but often. And this season I "found out" that you can compare the youth picks too.
By clicking first the youth classification in the CFF League and then the H2H button.

For example the Tour of Britain gives this info / amount of youth picks by a CFF participant ;

8x  ophiuko
7x  Mitte, Animatoca
6x  Vos, Vlominck, WinterIsComing
5x  Kalarratas, pizzaboys

In this way it seems that you, ophiuko, are the top favorite to win the youth classification in the CFF League.
But everyone has different youth picks, so the "youth battle" might be still wide open.
What shows after stage 1 ; five YC leaders, and the other three CFF participants have just 1 point less.
Of course, the real GC is my main goal, not the YC, and my start is not great with a 5th place and already 37 points behind.
I guess it is time for me to win stage 2 :P, what is also in Scotland.

  Bredewold and Gasparrini attacked in the final kilometers and the Dutch YC-winner won the stage.
Five seconds later, GC leader Wiebes finished as 3rd by winning the sprint of a reduced peleton, what secured her final GC victory.
Final GC = 1st Wiebes 0:00",  2nd Cordon 0:10",  3rd Swinkels 0:40"

CFF League stage 6 winner = Vlominck  8)

GC winner = Kalarratas  8)
Kalarratas wins also the sprint jersey.

Strong ( 0x picked ) wins the sprint of a relative big 50-men-peleton in what should have been the only mountainstage of this tour.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Mitte  8)

an impressive solo victory of Arensman in the queen's stage of the Vuelta.
Roglič and Mas won some seconds back on Evenepoel, but not enough to be a real threat to the final GC victory of the 22yo Belgian.
Tomorrow a rest day.

La Vuelta is going to be really interesting on its final week. If Mas and Roglic keep taking 20-30 seconds every mountain stage, it could be really tight. Too bad the stages left are not too hard.
