Polanc( UAE ) snatched victory, catching in the final km the leading trio (incl 2 teammates), and then jumping away to win alone.
Rota( Wanty ) looked the strongest in the front trio but as they eased, Polanc got back on with C.Rodriguez ( Ineos ).
When he kicked, Rota didn’t move and C.Rodriguez looked tired, surrendering victory.
In the sprint to the line Ayuso( 2nd ) and Covi( 3rd ) completed an entire UAE Team Emirates podium.

Kopecky won Strade Bianche Donne in a thrilling finale, beating van Vleuten in the final sprint for the line.

It was an unusually large group that approached the final climb, with most of the favourites still in contention.
Van Vleuten was the first to attack, 800m from the line, immediately shadowed by Kopecky, and her teammate, Moolman-Pasio.

On the steepest section of the Via Santa Caterina, Moolman-Pasio could not follow, but Kopecky fought to stay on Van Vleuten's wheel.
Side-by-side in the narrow streets of Siena, Kopecky and Van Vleuten unleashed their sprints, and Kopecky managed to just edge the Movistar rider in the last hundred metres, before collapsing with the effort as she crossed the finish line.

Pogačar wins Strade Bianche with a very impressive solo attack of 50(!) km. 2nd Valverde 0:37" and 3rd Asgreen 0:46".

  The 19yo De Lie wins this sprint race, 2nd De Bondt, 3rd Hofstetter.

Laporte wins stage 1 after a perfect day of Jumbo-Visma, in what should have been a sprint stage.
But Jumbo-Visma attacked on the last mini-climb with about 6km to go, and the trio Roglic - van Aert - Laporte stayed ahead ( see picture ).

a solo victory of a superb Pogačar in queens stage 6.
On already 1:03", Vingegaard and Landa finished as 2nd and 3rd, what is now also their GC positions.
because Mas crashed hard in the final descent, and Porte finished as 4th and came 0:11" short for the GC podium.
