  Merlier wins sprint stage 1.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Kalarratas  8)

Evenepoel wins for the 3rd time San Sebastián, this time by outsprinting Bilbao.
Vlasov finished as 3rd on 0:28", who was earlier in the very high pace 3-men-breakaway.
The "chasing" group gave up with about 12km to go, because despite big efforts, the supertrio-breakaway increased the big gap.

CFF League winner = Mitte  8)

Vollering was by far the best on the very foggy Tourmalet. If nothing strange happens in today's time trial, she will win this TdF.
Niewiadoma finished as 2nd on 1:58" and she wins the mountain jersey.
Former GC leader Kopecky surprised everyone by finishing as 6th on 3:32" Now 4th GC, and a chance to finish on the final GC podium.
This relentless stage was a battlefield to everyone. Enough abandonned cyclists ; before, during ánd after the race ( due to time limit ).

CFF League stage 7 winner = PieterJanVB  8)
PieterJanVB takes back the GC lead.

In the picture the final GC ;  2nd Kopecky 3:03",  1st Vollering 0:00" ,  3rd Niewiadoma 3:03"

CFF League stage 8 winners ( split victory ) = ophiuko  8)   &  PieterJanVB  8)

GC winner = PieterJanVB  8)
PieterJanVB wins also the sprint- and mountain jerseys.
Mitte wins the youth jersey.

  Mohorič wins mountain stage 2.

CFF League stage 2 winner = Vos  :)
Vos is the new GC leader.

Does that count as a stage victory? Not bad 5 out 8 stage wins. At the two top three positions and i am very happy about the tour de france.

Does that count as a stage victory?
Yes, every split victory counts as one full victory for each.
The same for a split win, for example in the youth classification of the TdF men ;
2 youth jersey winners, you and ophiuko, and both get each +1 in the Prince of Youth Trophy.

And your great TdF-femmes victory is an excellent redemption for the last moment unfortunate drop in the GC of the TdF men.
The key to success was to pick Kopecky, she scored the most points. Only 2 CFF managers picked her, including you.

Majka wins stage 3, and Mohorič is still the GC leader but the top 10 within 0:20"

CFF League stage 3 winner = Vos  :)
Vos is the current GC leader of all WCS participants !

:))
Reading this, I'm wondering how you are going to try to achieve this.
Let's make a forum quiz about this :  :P  ;D  :-*

FORUM QUIZ :
HOW WILL OPHIUKO MAKE SURE THAT HIS NOT-PICKED CYCLISTS DO NOT FINISH THE RACE ?

Rules :
You can send as many answers as you want in this forum topic. Deadline = before the first WC race in 3 days and 11½ hours.
The winner will be appointed by the only juror = ophiuko himself.
  :)

Participants forum quiz :

Vos = he will be serving his notorious Spanish-Scottish dish "haggis á la ophiuko" to everyone, except for his 15 picks,
then for sure everyone gets stomach problems and cannot finish the race.

Participants forum quiz :

Vos = ophiuko has booked hotel stays for hundreds of Scottish teenage girls, in the same hotels as the cyclists.
Each duo teenage girls gets the task from ophiuko, to harras one cyclist almost all night long.
With as consequence, that the cyclist is arrested by the Scottisch police, who is on the payroll of ophiuko too.
Of course, this answer only applies if ophiuko did not pick M. van der Poel.  ;)

Amazing race. I didn't think it was going to be that hard when the circuit was first published, but it seems the very short but hard hills of Glasgow were hell for all riders. The flat parts had so many sharp turns that there wasn't really much distance to close gaps after the hills. I kind of expected after watching yesterday's Junior races. At 90km to go, I could see in most riders faces that they were completely shattered. It was definitely not a race for sprinters. Women sprinters like Balsamo, Vos or Wiebes must be thinking twice if they should come next week.

If you want to see some videos, they are in the Discord chat.
