Your cobb-hills cyclist not in the gold rankings won't suddenly leap ahead of your cyclist already in the rankings.

You are correct.  My other CH cyclist, Prado (https://cyclingforfun.org/cff/vision.php?ciclistaid=76016) got gold cobble icon today.  He also appears in the gold cobble ranking at #229.  Finn, my other gold cobble guy, is at #84.

I am sure you have a lot of experience seeing your riders on the gold TT rankings, nine at present!

According to me the biggest influences on the shops are these, and in this order :
1. very big influence = high ranking in the division ( as the schedule of Kekipi already shows ).
2. also very big influence = jerseys.
3. big influence = good GC results/victories.
4. good influence = good race results/victories.

Good summary I think, only thing to add is that for the rankings not only the division rankings count but also the current standings in individual rankings.
