Froome crashed very hard during a recon/training. Out of the Dauphiné and he will not ride the Tour de France.


In the picture stage 3 winner Bennett. In stage 4, the time trial, a very surprising win of van Aert. A.Yates is the new GC leader.

Vos (NED) wins stage 2 and D'Hoore (BEL) wins stage 3, her second stage victory this tour. Brennauer (GER) is the GC leader.

Again a very surprising victory of van Aert, this time he wins sprint stage 5 (see picture). Stage 6 winner is Alaphilippe.

Niewiadoma (POL) wins stage 4. Deignan (GB) wins stage 5. In the GC just 0:01" difference between these 2 women.

Tomorrow updates of ;
Giro d'Italia Internazionale Femminile, Österreich-Rundfahrt, Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta-Mont Blanc and La Course by Le Tour de France.

Already worth to mention = Kalarratas won the Österreich-Rundfahrt of all WCS participants ! 
He is the 3rd CFF winner this season.
TeamElrosportu won the Tour Cycliste International du Haut-Var Matin and pizzaboys won the 1day race Scheldeprijs.

Ben Hermans celebrates the GC victory in Austria. 2nd GC is Sepúlveda and 3rd GC is de Bod, a just 22yo South African with a Dutch name.

Kalarratas wins also the sprint- and mountain jersey. Also he is the best of all WCS participants in the sprint classification ! 
Kalarratas and pizzaboys, both win the youth jersey.


Defending champion Van Vleuten wins again the Giro Rosa, the longest and very important big tour for women.
2nd GC is van der Breggen and 3rd GC is Spratt. Vos won 4 out of the 10 stages.

In this very hot stage again a victory of Ewan. Fuglsang crashed 26km before the finish and is out of the Tour.

CFF League stage 16 winner, and his 5th (!) stage victory this Tour = MarnixStar   
MarnixStar is the new leader in the sprint classification of all WCS. 
It is clear he is the Peter Sagan of CFF and hopefully also for MarnixStar the green jersey in the final sprint classification of all WCS.

In the GC it is still extreme close between pizzaboys (yellow jersey) and Patrick Kok (2nd). 
A little gap towards WinterIsComing (3rd), MarnixStar (4th) and Kalarratas (5th) and this group has a little gap towards the others.
But with 5 more stages to go (and the question-points) it is perhaps still possible someone out of the top 5 will win the Tour de France.
For example PieterJanVB (8th) who won the last 2 mountain stages.
