I wouldnt be so sure. He did second with my rider(am also setting as candidate) strange the position of Pierre  anyway Maybe he tried a risky tactic?

Seriously?

Intentionally not trying to win with Pierre because I set myself as a candidate...???

Well done I guess...

If you follow the forum you can read I say this:

He was the leader! But a 13125 was not the right choise. In s1 he can't follow...

After last cobble hill race Cabrasverdes asked why I didn't race with free role. He has also a lot of good cobble hill riders. He is right, we have a very good cobble hill selection. So this race I raced with 2 free role: Dré Degrande (2e place - also a rider of a manager who candidate for BC - so definitly no hard feelings!) and Dean Joly (6e place).

Pierre won already 3 NT race + individual classement. After this wins you never posted anything. No 'well done' post. But now he didn't win you are very fast to post criticism. That is totaly not fair!

I congratulated you in a personal message the first season when you made Yannick world champion, I think you remember that.

I also know that cabras has some very good cobble-hillers, so that's a luxury for Belgium.

But if I see Yannick in a group way behind in the first section and then lose even more ground in the second section without any helpers, then I don't think you're seriously trying to perform with him. A top 6 position is a walk in the park for him, also in a free role with a normal strategy. I definitely understand if you change the leader every season to give cabras cobble/hillers a chance of the world title as well, but in my opinion you raced this last race in a very strange way compared to all the other cobble/hill races you did.

In my opinion the results haven't be so great Belgium has lost a very good option for making a podium because the calendar was very favourable and we missed many points in important days
1st stage Lechanteur 51 (4th in same stage in the Vuelta)
3rd stage Verhoeven 7th but "eigenlijk zou Verhoeven hoger moeten eindigen"
5th stage Victory with Pierre but maybe with some free roles could have been much more points as we saw in the last stage.
7th stage Very good race for us and very good tactits(except of maybe the favourite of the stage that ended out of points)
For that reason althought the job wasn't so bad I think that a more experienced manager in cobbles would be great.
As I mentioned I am also setting as candidate and I pretentend continue making Belgium one of the bests and inproving the results if the calendar is again favourable.

WOW, really kind words.

I would never vote for you (Cabrasverdes) and I hope no one else does  ;)

I would love to speak Dutch but as I can't I try it in English (many not Spanish speakers do it in the Spanish forum and I think it's interesting).

Thx Vos.
