Is anyone else having trouble getting to the server?

Yes, a few minutes ago the same here, and I tried 2 different browsers.
According to my "security check program" ; the problem was caused by WCS itself / a security risk, impossible to log in.
But I tried again now (= a few minutes later ), and everything seems fine again, I can log in and do not even get a security warning.
So, I guess WCS solved the problem.
