That doesn't make sense kirin.  Spectators mean their arms, flags, other things can hit the cyclists, causing more crashes, and spectators don't work as matting for the barriers.

Here's a question:  Is it true they're only testing for CoVid19 on rest days? (commentary has suggested this).  And the question is still on whether those who withdraw are tested.

I know several teams did test on saturday (or sunday?) too. I don't think they were official, they were just within the team. I don't know what's the reason for this, maybe to retire them before the real test? I don't think that those that are withdrawn are tested, but I am not sure.
