What caused a surprising sprint-a-deux for the victory ; Ballerini beats Stuyven.

  After a hard stage, a select group of 5 sprinted for victory ; Bredewold won.

CFF League stage 1 winner = Mlb  8)

  Again a sprint victory of Merlier, who takes back the GC lead.

CFF League stage 3 winner = Mitte  8)
HtcHun is still the GC leader with 2 more stages to go.



The first stage victory of Vingegaard in his Giro debut. Now he has stage victories in all the 3 big tours, see picture.
He was the best on the brutal final climb ; Blockhaus 13,6km a 8,4%. Only Gall finished close on 0:12". All others lost much more time.
