Dark clouds above stage 13. Maybe also figuratively ? Will the Giro continue till the end, stage 21 in Milan ? Or will it finish sooner ?

Diego Ulissi (UAE Team Emirates) surged across the line in a thrilling finish in Monselice to take the stage 13 victory in the Giro d'Italia. Ulissi took his eighth career Giro victory and second stage in the 2020 edition with a bike throw over the maglia rosa João Almeida (Deceuninck-QuickStep) and Patrick Konrad (Bora-Hansgrohe).

Almeida gained valuable bonus seconds with his lunge to extend his lead in the general classification, now a 40-second margin over Wilco Kelderman (Sunweb), and 49 seconds over Pello Bilbao (Bahrain McLaren).

With the GC leaders bunched together on the final climb, less than 20km from the finish, Ulissi moved to the front, pushed the pace and created a small split, which gave him space from top sprinters Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ) and Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe).

In the finish, Brandon McNulty powered to the front and propelled his teammate Ulissi to the front of the bunch for the victory.

I can't believe, with CoVid19 having such a fun run at the moment, that they still have crowds lining the streets.  It's as if they want more of it & have given up.
Indeed, unbelievable and unwise.
I assume your conclusion is a cynical comment, only then I agree with that too, because it even looks like that.
But this conclusion cannot be true, and the real conclusions/reasons are obvious to me and I have a very outspoken opinion about this matter.
Maybe not something others want to read, so I will not post my (most likely controversial) supersensible opinion here.

Anyway ; in the cycling for fun league we can play with a 100% success rate in everyone's important personal struggle not to spread the virus. :)

2x men = 2½ hours left to join. women = 3 hours left to join.

I can't believe, with CoVid19 having such a fun run at the moment, that they still have crowds lining the streets.  It's as if they want more of it & have given up.
About the Ronde van Vlaanderen ; according to the organisation there should be zero spectators.
80% of the race is blocked/shielded by the police, it should be impossible to be a spectator there.
And this 80% includes all parts of the race that could be decisive and where normally the crowd is huge.
There is a big campaign ( for example on tv and on billboards ) to inform the Belgian people not to go to the race.
We should only see a few people as spectators who live directly at the race road, they can watch from their garden or drive way.
And they are forbidden to invente many guests to watch RVV, as I understand it, they check for this before the cyclists arrive.
In the Netherlands a group of max 4 persons is the rule, but I don't know the corona rules in Belgium.

Of course, this is all still theoretically, it remains to be seen how it goes in practise.
I'm a little bit worried about the 20% that is not blocked because this classic race is almost an religion to the Flemish people.
But maybe the Flemish(/Belgian) people are the first smart people who really achieve to have no spectators in a cycling race.
In contrast to for example French cycling races (including TdF stages) where they announced also that there would be no spectators,
and in practise it was crowded full of spectators like there was no corona.
According to me the Belgians are more smart than the French, so it could be that RVV is the first cycling race in 2020 without spectators.
Let's hope this is the case.

In the picture the start in Base Aerea Rivolte with displays of Italian national colours.
Geoghen Hart won this mountain stage with finish atop the Piancavallo. He was in the front group with Hindley and Kelderman (both Sunweb).
GC leader Almeida barely hold on to the maglia rosa by finishing as 4th. The GC difference between him and Kelderman is now just 0:15"
Geoghen Hart (4th on 2:57") and Hindley (3rd on 2:56") moved up to the top 4 GC, because all other GC contenders lost time in this stage.

CFF League stage 15 winner = Animatoca   8)
Also in the CFF League a Portuguese GC leader, and it looks good for the title defender that again he will win the Giro.

First of all ; almost no spectators in this monumental classic race. Bravo Belgian people !
Alaphilippe was also in the strong break away group of just 3 favorites, but he crashed into a motorbike and fell very hard, he could not continue.
The other 2 of the break away, van Aert and van der Poel, were too strong for the big chasing group and they stayed ahead.
After an epic sprint a deux, van der Poel won with a very tiny difference. Kristoff won the sprint of the chasing group and finished 3rd.

CFF League winner = Sjiz   8)

In the women's RVV the race was dominated by the team of Boels Dolmans.
Blaak attacked on the climb of the Oude Kwaremont and won after an impressive solo of 20km.
Her teammates Pieters and world champion van der Breggen controled the big chasing group.
Pieters won the sprint for the 2nd place, just before Kopecky.

CFF League winner = Kalarratas   8)

Yves Lampaert won Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne, the final one-day race of the rescheduled 2020 season, after strong winds split the peloton into multiple echelons and caused Mathieu van der Poel to crash into the ditch.
Lampaert was one of four Deceuninck-QuickStep riders in the seven-rider group that emerged on the final windswept circuit and then attacked alone into a headwind with seven kilometres to go.
Tim Declercq attacked in the final kilometre to give Deceuninck-QuickStep first and second, with Tim Merlier (Alpecin-Fenix) winning the sprint for third.

A solo victory of Cerny in stage 19.
Geoghegan Hart wins the thrilling mountain stage 20 on Sestriere, Hindley finished as 2nd ( see picture ).
Kelderman lost the maglia rosa. The battle for Giro victory is now between the 2 best climbers of this big tour.
For the first time in history the GC difference is 0:00" before the final stage. Hindley starts in pink, but Geoghegan Hart is the better time trialist.
