All favorite sprinters could not follow a big front peleton on the only mountain, 60 km before the finishline.
And despite big effort of their helpers, the 2nd peleton could not return.
Cortina won the sprint of the front peleton, his first victory this season. Mohorič finished as 2nd, and Vuillermoz as 3rd.

And as usual, your picks are great. WCS is not updated yet, but your picks did amazing in stage 1.
I "based" my picks on the decisive mountain stage 2, and hopefully this causes to achieve my goal = winning the mountain jersey.
But it would not surprise me if you win that mountain jersey. Anyway, it might be an exciting battle with our 8 different picks.

And no problem if you win one stage ( probably you already did in stage 1 ),
but that is it, Ophiuko, no more stage victories please  , otherwise my lead in the Emperor season trophy is in jeopardy as well.

It was the last race of cycling legends Nibali ( 24th ) and Valverde, and this Spanish 42yo crack did amazing by finishing as 6th.

The queen's stage of the Tour de Romandie Féminin had as finish a brutal climb of about 10 km.
Moolman-Pasio won this stage, by beating the world champion van Vleuten with 0:26".
Longo Broghini finished as 3rd on 0:43" and normally this is also the order of the final GC with one more stage to go.
Because this queen's stage caused big time differences, for example the nr 10 in this stage finished already on 4 minutes.

Despite I picked Moolman-Pasio, and Ophiuko did not. But as usual, Ophiuko his picks are great, shown by this stage 2 victory.
Ophiuko is still the GC leader, ánd with a very good lead ; nr 2 Combuijs on 1:48",  nr 3 Vos on 1:51",  and others even further behind.
And it looks like that Ophiuko is gonna win all other jersey's as well, including the by me very desired mountain jersey, grrrrrr !
